I guess all the modern football fans would say one of our greatest modern Number 9's was actually a number 10 (Nigel Clough) and Bryan Roy, our number 22 was a number 10. One Centre Forward has played with his back to goal, dropping off etc since time began...or since Sir Alfs wingless wonders at the very least.
Or am I just getting old?
