Think it would be utterly daft to pull the trigger too soon. If they were going to do it it should've been done right after the last match of the season.

Letting Sabri bring his own staff and players in only to then give him the boot after a couple of matches would be senseless.

He needs until Christmas in my opinion, *unless* results get so bad that his position is untenable.

I agree with that 100%. It would be madness to sack him so early into the season. There is no white knight waiting on the horizon to take us to the promised land. The club and fans need to have a bit more patience. Build from strength. Our league position improved last season. We missed out on a play off place in the last minutes of the season. Manager has brought in his own coaches and players and after one league there is talk about the manager getting the sack. Unbelievable.

EM might be in Greece but Dourekas is in Nottingham and he will be the one who says to EM whether we need a change or not.

From my point of view we are not in a position of strength. I believe we should have parted company at the end of last season. Our league position did improve but we tried very hard to not improve it by the end and it was based on a good first 2/3rds of last season. 

He's been backed in the transfer market, he's got his coaches in and then he sets up exactly the same as when it was carp last season. I could take the bad results if there was some indication that he was trying to do something different, but he's not. Madness!

It seems we've been rumbled. I'm patient enough to give The Coach the 1st ten games. That way you can even out 'one off' results and see if a pattern is emerging.

What seems to be happening? Let me imagine the opposition tactics.

'The forest CHs. Lack an old head in there. That's to our advantage. Figs...he's still young and got a mistake in him. Worrall's concentration can slip towards the end of the half. What I'd like to see us do is keep it tight for the 1st half...and then go at them, kick it long, direct and overload the CHs near the end. They can get a bit panicky and lose their shape. They sit deep and don't have a lot of pace.'

I might be wrong. But there's a clear pattern of 'last minute' goals. It's either the Coach's set up. Or the CHs. Or one of them. Or 'it's in their head' now. ie. They're waiting for it to happen and will make it happen.

I think QPR did the right thing bringing in the CH they did. And Swansea seem to have nuanced their back line according to the EFL on Quest.

I don't think we've been as discreet at fortifying our back line. True. We brought in Blackett but he played at LB.

...and we brought in the young CH for 'a large' fee. Is he going to play instead of Figs? Who has 'got caught' a few times. He seems to lack pace. And the problem is. The championship is going to have quick attacking players. We could do with someone who has pace in the CH back line.

So again, if I was the opposition manager, I'd be overloading our young RB (inexperienced...) and Figs (prone to an error/no pace...)

The CHs seemed to be nowhere for the last goal. Seemed a bit soft to me.

I've probably got all that wrong. So I'm sure the Coach will be able to fix whatever...it is.

If he sets up the team negatively and delivers v Cardiff the same as at QPR then it will be slam dunk. Other than being a nice, caring set up then there will be no point in him staying because it will be clear that we will not challenge for promotion. There was a point in retaining him for the start of the season because, I believe, he convinced EM that his methods and results would change. To witness 2 games without change will be proof enough

Warburton had those 'two losses' and he was toast.

Each manager seems to have 'those performances' near 'the end.'
