If the players get tired or injured then rests dip. Winter transfer window is the absolute reason weve faded. Who was responsible for that needs sacking, not the manager.

You have a point about Jan but as you ve said yourself, we only have one way of playing and that’s cost us over the season

The manager cant play attacking football when we have 1 striker in the club. Thats an absolute shambles of a situation. Its not his fault unless the decisons not to buy was his, which i doubt.

The manager gets paid to find solutions, he couldn’t do it
you have to have a plan B he might not buy the players but he identifies what style of player

We did have Tyler walker but was not really played. Also would seem league one is his standard

I know it is a bit raw at the moment (understatement of the year or what?) but what everyone banging on about we need new signings, we need more up front, we need this, we need that, we need the other, need to remember is this......We won't have that much money, if any to spend on new players. Whilst football might be back up and running, it is doing so in empty stadiums. Empty stadiums do not bring in much revenue, which the club needs to pay wages etc.

You can rest assured that if a PL club come in for Cash or Worrall, we aren't going to have the luxury of slapping high demands on those types of players, as we need as much cash incoming as possible. Buying clubs will be in the same boat too, so money will be much harder to come by.

This means that any new signings we get must surely be from the loan market, which means youngsters from PL clubs who want first team, regular football, or cast offs of the likes of Diakharby. 

I can see us having to hang on to the 'fringe' players that we own and maybe find one or two freebies along the way, providing they do not demand too high a wage (Colback for instance) and hope we don't have to deplete our squad too much.

Interesting times ahead and not in the way we would want or hope.

Totally agree we were in a great place and that was the time to strengthen, but we just don't seem to have financial room due to FFP.

4 of the top 6 are receiving parachute payments of 30-odd or 40-odd million.
Our total revenue is only 25 million.
Leeds' is 49million.
Only Brentford outperformed us considering that.

We need to offload the players that aren't contributing but costing big wages, i.e. 1 million a year for Pantilimon, and all the others, Clough, Hef, Benalouane etc and wheel & deal and find some gems in the summer.

We'll always have players out of favour. Thats just modern football. And these players, Hefe, Pants noe Carvalho are Marinakis signings.

That is what I did not get. 

These last two games we seemed almost too afraid to attack unless we had to. We basically played for the draw and when you do that the tendency is you lose. 
That is the managers fault if that was the case

That has been one of our biggest downfalls this season, sitting back on a one goal lead. Tonight and on Sunday, they were prepared to do that on a level scoreline! And every single time we do that we get bitten on the arse!!

It just floored me.

I turned to my Dad and told him to stop looking at the Swansea score because we would need another goal no matter what.

I posted earlier in the week that Swansea had scored three or more goals ten times this season. There result should not be a shock to anyone.

This is why sending someone like Adomah out on loan when you are short of attacking options was odd. Especially as his replacements scored zero goals (I think he had two goals early in the season)
