a win would of been very exciting to set up this run in

a loss would of been more damaging than a usual loss

the draw, considering other results and having a 5 point cushion in the top 6, is worth more than a draw,
every time you preserve the cushion as the games run out

also 8 days till the next game and Huddersfield lost so quite a few positives, considering we were coming off the
back of a heavy home defeat last time out and an even worse defeat last time we played the Owls

overall, positives win the day

I dont blame Diakhaby but I do blame my favourite scapegoat Semedo for his half arsed attempt at a header before it dropped to Wickham.

Ha I was only joking, Figs was knackered should've brought Dawson on. The commentators kept mentioning he was struggling.

Hope samba is ok

Good point, which I would have taken before the game, especially with the midfield missing.

Observations albeit from  TV viewing.

Our width is our strength. At different points all 4 wide players looked dangerous. Assist for Cash, goal for Lolley, Ribs was excellent at times, Ameobi had moments.

Thought Yates and Johnson grew into the game. Personally, I would have given Johnson another 10 mins as he was having a great spell - were our subs pre-meditated? Yates may not be everyone's cup of tea, but 2nd half he was as good as anyone else.

Silva is not very good when deeper. Compare his influence today to any average or even below par game Waton has this season.

Semedo looked decent, more like the lad we had in early part of season.

Worrall- class. Motm, probably got us a point.
Figs- How many points will this lads lack of concentration cost us? To not be goal side of Wickham was school boy.

Front players did ok feeding off scraps. Da Costa looks like he can play.

If Bostock is given freedom of the pitch, he can pass it. In a physical 90 mph game Bostock looks like he is running in treacle. Not sure he touched the ball and certainly contributed nothing defensively.

Diakhaby actually used his pace to track back quite well, didnt do anything on the ball.

Radio Nottm just said we have dropped 12 points in injury time!!!! Even halving that number puts us right in the hunt.

Good point though, even though it doesn't feel like it.

NB: ifollow wasnt working until I downloaded app onto my phone, just in time for KO. A few freezes (non more so than Figs in 92nd minute) but OK.

Suspect that Brice had a hamstring ping affecting his movement. I think he would've come for and punched the corner away or at least prevented Wickham from getting a clear header. Calmed down now realising that a point is ok. Plenty of practice doing that far too often.

In the end it was a decent point and it got minutes into the players legs which is urgently required. We haven't lost any ground either and it' s another game chalked off. Not a bad day really all considered.

Could see cash and others were knackered around 70 mins.

Yes they all need minutes into their legs. Probably take 2 or 3 games for everyone to get up to speed.

In fairness, compared to other matches I have watched since the restart, I thought todays game was very refreshing, with both sides wanting to go forward and attack. Under the circumstances, with it being the first game played in well over three months, I think both sets of players deserve a bit of recognition for the way the game was played. Whilst it wasn't the most skilfully played match, it was lively and entertaining, and I feel that the draw was a fair result at the end of the day.

Fine with the result, I feel like we have a tendency to get a bit negative second half when we have a (usually one goal) lead. 12 points in injury time is a lot but how many of our victories this season have we been hanging on at the end. Bound to conceded sometimes, although Figs does often seem to be at fault
