With Diakhaby, Yates & Carvalho in line for starts?
Perhaps even Da Costa might get some minutes.

Beware Sabri - your ‘tinkering’ has a habit of going wrong.
Fully agree TPL. I said similar the other day.
I also think Grabs may be a potential on the rest list too, but on the bench
I think more than 2 changes is very risky.
i guess Sow, and 1 of either Lolley or Ameobi is favourite for a rest.

diakhaby you would imagine is likely to start, and then it’s either Carv or Yates to replace Sow.
does Sabri go like for like with Yates, or does he play Silva and Watson with Carv behind Grabban.
Ameobi was subbed during the Leeds game so I'd suspect it'll be Lolley that rested.

While Sabri will be tempted to rest a few players, I don't think it'll be more than 2 or 3 max, I think he has learned that in the Championship, there are no easy games.

Well folks, the tinkering certainly did go wrong, too many changes are risky and he has certainly learned now that there are no easy games-again. I'm not usually one to over react, but I spent eons getting  through the traffic after work, froze my boll@cks off at the game watching a sub standard team put out and basically throwing away the possibility of going 2nd in the league.

I felt for some of the regulars who had to be a part of that sh1t show. 3 points were up for grabs, same as all the other games. Charlton Athletic are a proud club, any football supporter has to respect  their fan base for their return to the valley campaign and victory. Making 5 changes was very disrespectful. As soon as we saw the team news, we were worried. Charlton players must have seen the side and thought, bloody hell we can win this.

Very very disappointing Sabri, please this time learn. Congratulations to Charlton, they deserved to win. Hope they stay up.

very much so. I’m fuming tonight but hopefully this will be the big kick in the balls to make him realise to not change his best team!

Agree.

Damage could already be done - those squad players will hardly be full of confidence when needed. Worrall was fuming at bong and he looked broken already. Did someone say 2.5 yr contract?

Agree.

He hasnt learnt though. He made the same mistake at Milwall amd at Wigan. He thinks he can turn up and piss on these teams.

Well how many more times does he need to c**k up?

The thing for me is that the only way the new signings will flourish is if they are put into the team 1 by one. It’s the only way they will learn the team way that has got us so far up the league. Dropping 5 in at once had the result we all feared. They looked like strangers. I’m not writing anybody off it just needs to be managed better. Hopefully sabri has got the same message. Ps I have written off semedo! He’s crap and I can’t tolerate another gutless performance from jenkinson.

He’s done well many many more times than he’s cocked up. I’ll take that

Same here. Saw the team and thought straight away it would be a bad night. I think that had an effect on the atmosphere even before a ball was kicked.

And if we thought it, no doubt the players were thinking it too. So the crowd was quiet, the players  ot up.for it, the replacemnt players not right. We were lucky to only lose 1-0.

Still fuming now at 11.15.

There was one incident that summed up Jenkinson where he ran off from the man with the ball to cover wide and left a 20 yard gap straight to the penalty area for the man on the ball. Terrible. Have we been spoilt with cash? That said cash’s crossing was awful when he came on

But cash looked like he cares and carried impetus. It was a bad night. Worse than the other tinkering exercises. Hopefully lessons learnt.
