virtually every game over 55% possession we have lost?

the very serious underlying problem is only 7 first half goals all season

With almost half a season so far, it's probably only going to be changed with more players coming in Jan'.

Sadly we are lacking decent Wingers and a 2nd striker

Drop Silva for who though Jock?

Why not try adomah in the middle. He was villa top scorer a couple years back. Silva is impotent

With any two DCMs of Watson/Sow or Watson/Yates there is room for two wingers and Silver or Car' through the middle.

As for 'impotent', Forest have had a half a season with Silva...and Car's already had a chunk of games back from injury.  They don't seem to impose themselves on the game. Another ACM inbound in Jan'..?

Or do we need more options at DCM and Winger and Striker to get more out of them?

Can we agree that we have just the two DCM’s up to the standard required at the moment. Yates - at best - is a work in progress.
We need at least one additional player in that role - step forward Colback.

Worrall and Yates are both works in progress as is Cash as a RB.  They're young.  The main issues are who are best to shepherd them along...and when they come into the side and when they need rested.

That said, Worrall and Yates have both scored goals in recent games in lieu of the forward line which seems rather lost.  Good sign posts of their 'work in progress.'

What's important is that have experienced mentors alongside them.

Colback.  Can't arrive soon enough.  Nor Gayle.  If the rumours are to be believed.

I would also like to see Sow and Yates in the middle today.

Watson has been brilliant but I think he could do with a break from the action to recharge his batteries.

I agree. Perhaps Worrall could do with a break also for a couple of games.

I would normally agree with that but Watson has started to look off the pace in the last couple of games. A short break will probably do him good.
