Not much found pre match, maybe the last comment will help for those travelling by road...
The majority of their attacks go down the left with Ameobi.
He's done well against us a couple of times previously, if we play with a back 4 Pereira will need support, for that reason I'm not sure LJ will go with Eliasson.
If we go 3-5-2, same side as we saw vs Cardiff but Fam in for Watkins. No big changes needed
Ameobi has a lot of ability in his strength and technical skill. But I also think he should be a weakness we can find a way of exploiting as he lacks work rate. Their defensive set up maybe allows that one luxury but i imagine Ameobi may not track back so well if we can attack their right.
To be fair I've not seen much of Forest. Maybe he's improved in that area. But that's something I always saw with him previously.
they aren’t dissimilar to us, like to play on the break. Not overly bothered with possession for possessions sake. They are keen to get it forward quickly, albeit not with long balls. See my “What can we expect thread”.
Good crowd tomorrow over 23000 seats sold.
Going to be a cracking game hopefully City have that bit extra to nudge the win.
We went to Forest last season where we deservedly brought the three points home.
Another three tomorrow will set us up nicely for WBA in midweek.
Kory Smith how do you fit him in with Nagy,Brownhill,Massengo.
Any ideas
Junction 18 is closed tomorrow.

Well clearly Ameobi has upped his work rate since they last saw him. Tough game this. Yet another away end sold out.

Found this Pre match on Bristol Match Thread...
The Paleolithic Period is considered the earliest of human development. It extends from the first known use of stone tools by Homo the genus of the family Hominindae circa 2.5 million years ago to the end of the Pleistocene circa 11,650 years ago. Recent discoveries in a dry riverbed near to Lake Turkana in Kenya, however, challenges this date and points toward a discovery close to a million years before.
Fast forward to November 2017 and Evangelos Marinakis, the owner of Forest, receives the Lloyds List "Greek Shipping Personality of the Year" Award at a special ceremony in Athens. Nigel Lowry of Lloyd's List said Marinakis was the "outstanding candidate" for the award and noted his $1 billion investment in fleet capacity in 2017, his "dynamic dealmaking" in the shipping sector, as well as a range of other activities across philanthropy, sports and media.
Since 2015 both Marinakis and Olympiacos, his other club, have received awards by the NGO ‘Elpida’ for financial support in the provision of new medical equipment, for bone marrow donations and for the donation of Olympiacos tickets. Admirable.
In 2018 he was awarded by the Municipality of Piraeus a special award in recognition of his contribution to Local Government. He was born in Piraeus in 1967 took over his Father's shipping business which, at the time, was 7 tankers and has built it into a very large business today.
In the world's largest shipping publication, Tradewinds, Marinakis was responding to accusations of mixing business and politics after being elected Mayor of Piraeus. He said that he can see no reason why someone with a strong record in business cannot get into politics, "calling that stance "Paleolithic logic". "I am not afraid to be involved in politics, because I have no business with the Greek state" he said. Since the elections, he undertook the construction of squares, parks, children's playgrounds and sports facilities, at his own cost, as the municipality of Piraeus lacks the necessary funds due to the economic crisis.
Marinakis' 'hunter gatherer' analogy is an interesting one. He has built his shipping empire into a hugely successful and profitable business expanding it from the 7 tankers when he took over from his father to more than 70 today. Interesting then that he would wish to risk all of that by carrying more than two tonnes of heroin on one of his oil tankers; Prosecutors in the port city of Piraeus said he still faced these "very serious charges" connected to a 2014 investigation. Does Greece's 'Paleolithic Man' live rigidly to that principle come what may or is he being framed by disenfranchised politicians or spurned ex business partners in a twisted yet motivated reason for revenge? He has previously been cleared of match fixing in Greece. It is troublesome for Nottingham Forest that their owner is accused of serious crimes. For their sake let us hope these are without foundation. If that does not come to pass the club could be looking at yet another sale. In the meantime excitement gathers over the club's recently unveiled plans to turn the City Ground into a 38,000 all seater arena. But will it happen before or after his tenure?
Mr Marinakis has previously claimed to have been the "victim of a plot", and when he bought Nottingham Forest in 2017 , said opponents were "jealous" of his success with Olympiakos, who have won the Greek Super League seven times since he bought them in 2010.
Under the Greek legal system, the initial step in a case sees a judge make a recommendation to a public prosecutor on whether a case should be pursued. Marinakis has not yet been before a judge.
Warburton, O'Neill and now Frenchman Lamouchi have all served under Marinakis. Sabri Lamouchi has had fairly limited managerial experience and actually started out in 2012 as national manager of Ivory Coast. The Elephants qualified for the 2014 World Cup, ranked 23rd at the time; the highest in Africa, and started their group games with a 2–1 victory over Japan. That was followed by a 2–1 loss to group favourites Colombia. And on his last game as Ivory Coast's manager, he and his team lost 2–1 to Greece and were eliminated from the World Cup. Perhaps Marinakis felt sorry for him! He followed a brief and initially successful spell with Rennes by joining Forest in June of this year.
With Fulham winning last night we see City again out of the top 6. A win today, therefore, would be very welcome to get back inside and push Forest out at the same time.
Roll on City.

Evangelos Marinakis sounds like a truly fascinating man, I might do a bit of research later and find out more about his life so far.
Who is wealthier, Marinakis or Lansdown? Will Marinakis be in attendance at Ashton Gate today? It sounds unlikely, I doubt he ever watches their games.
City to win 2-1, Diedhiou with both goals.
Having been fairly impressed with Forest when I've watched them this season, This was a game that worried me a bit, but with Kalas back, Nagy fit and even the possibility of Korey Smith making an appearance, I'm feeling more positive. Main concern is they have 2 powerful strikers and their wingers could exploit our weaknesses on both flanks.
Making my way down from Nottingham for this, they’re pretty confident up here. Can see a scrappy 1-1 with Massengo getting his first goal for us
Off to catch my train soon - I can't see us scoring more than one. Forest have only let in 13 goals in 15 league games (but you never know). Need a clean sheet for three points I think
Saw Forest-Derby, Hesgoal, 1-0. Forest played good and I think they are a good team. We are good and hope that we take all points today.
A bit worried now I see the back line , was really hoping would not see Wright playing for us again, going to a busy afternoon for the other two covering for him, and that worries me also as its those sort of pressure games that make Baker do silly things, really hoping to be proved wrong,
COYR! omfg just seen the team sheet... Kalas and Moore out
promising start, except for the wasted short corner...
Corner for Forest after their player given space to shoot from edge of box, and off the line by Fammy!
All over us like a rash..
Matter of 'when not if..
Hi Pretty gash opening 20 mins or so
Think it's been quite even, although worry about them outnumbering us in midfield
Doesn’t help that all 4 times the ball has gone in their box the ref has given them a free kick
Might be top PL ref, but he sure is whistle happy...
This is a tough watch. Ref not helping but quality really missing.
Another boring half at home. We can’t create anything without creative players. Our two most creative ones are consistently on the bench. How we can expect to watch exciting creative football with Eliasson and Palmer consistently on the bench is beyond me
Awful half but at least we haven't conceded, game of two halves after all.
Well that was S**t
After first ten mins it’s been fairly even but poor stuff. Not helped by ref who blows for any contact
Forest down to 100 men
Won’t see many clearer reds
How have they got away with that the cheating c*nts
Must have been rubbish to not be ahead with 101 players.........
Just a replay of the first half.
No shot on target after 71 mins
Isn't it time to bring in a playing time clock to combat time wasting? What other form of entertainment would allow this. You just know what you're in for from the minute they get the red card.
No positives to take out of this af all so far. Except confirming how much better we are with Eliasson playing
Forest seem very comfortable dealing with these crosses though.
Not an unusual stat for this team under LJ
Amazingly a lot of fans slate Neil Warnock for his dire style of football. Our football at home under this manager has been terrible for some time
Is the paint dry yet?
No shot on target at home against a side playing with 10 men for 40 mins. ******* horrific
FT 0-0, not a single shot on target says it all
Sometimes the opposition deserve some credit.
Obviously not from some on here - we should beat everyone apparently
Although this result is a bit frustrating, we have got a point over 5th placed forest
What was disappointing for me was seeing Forest allowing us to have so much possession and knowing the ball would only come down the channel through Eliasson. It was predictable and very unlikely to unlock a decent defence. Forest players and manager time wasting antics made all the more frustrating. Not a pleasing sight!
Forest defended very well but jeez, we looked so toothless and predictable

Continued....
That was a very frustrating game to watch today. We set out again in a shape that I don't think suits us much and played with a cautious approach. Watching two counter attacking teams play each other is either enthralling or dire and today was the latter from an entertainment point of view. On top of that the ref was extremely fussy and blew for everything.
Forest were the better side in the first half and should really have gone in front during one particular spell where we massively rode our luck. We didn't create much, we didn't win the midfield and the ball didn't stick well when we went over it.
Second half we improved even before the sending off. A note on that, I thought it was a yellow not a red - not seen a replay yet - but I really disliked the play acting and faux outrage that helped to make it a red. As soon as that card was shown Nagy made a miraculous recovery and was on his feet in a couple of seconds - I don't ever want to see that from a city player.
We finally brought on some creativity with Palmer and Eliasson, and Rodri. I think despite missing a couple Rodri looks a better option than Diedhiou and should get more opportunity, likewise Eliasson over O'Dowda who despite being good at running at defenders doesn't produce many chances.
It's been difficult with the injury list so I have some sympathy and patience with it but I sincerely hope the club have a striker ready to sign on January 1st but I expect it will be difficult, I think if Afobe were fit we'd have already have had another 6 or 8 points so where do we find the next one?

They were lucky not to have lost 2:0. Yates cleared off the line 1st half and Forest battered them 1st half (and should have gone in a goal up at least) and 2nd half, Grabban had his chance.

QPR v Forest
A few Pre match comments taken from several different QPR Forums...
Nottingham Florist 21:57 - Nov 22 with 1238 view
We can’t defend so we have to attack. I would stick with 352 and play both wells and hugill up top. I might have chair as RWB instead of Kane, manning left and have eze in front of ball and Amos. Back 3 would be Wallace for sure and would play Barbet if fit. The toss a coin between Hall and BFG but rest one. Kelly in for Lumley.
Apparently they have a squad of 108 players, 72 of those players haven't scored a goal since January 2019.
Feck me our onion bag is gonna be bulging Wednesday night,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
lump on anyone who's back from long term injury, never scored a professional goal, or more than 1 goal, or is playing with 1 leg.
No idea why but think we are going to win this one!
I agree I think the players will want to play a complete game in front of the loyal home fans after the bitter sting of Friday night and pull it off .Its nice and compact at LR and the space we normally give up can be closed easier which should mean less opposing players roaming free in our box but you never know .I am not in love with all the defenders pointing at each other after the poor goals we concede that only makes things worse IMO.
Nope, I think we've been worse at home this season. If a team comes here knowing that we are vulnerable, they will crucify us. 1-4, I fear...

QPR Forum comments, pre match, during and after...
Taking my Nottingham Forest mate tonight....He always sees his team win, home or away.
We missed the wonderful match last year in Nottingham...see what I mean.
He is very good, never celebrates but just smiles...I hate him smiling condescendingly...
I have stopped taking friends to games as I have an awful record of taking Portsmouth Leeds, forest, sheff Weds, spuds Liverpool plus others I care not remember in fact can only remember taking a scunny mate to HQ and got a win. Have a good Charlton mate that wants to come 21st Dec. Haven’t bought his ticket yet
Apparently Forest have only lost 1 away league game all season.....bodes well...
Only one change: Chair in, Hugill to the bench.
A clean sheet, please! I'd even be pleased with a 0-0.
You people have non QPR friends? I didn't think that was allowed.
Seems odd to bench Friday's goal scorer. Can't remember Chair scoring for us.
Surprised at Hugill being benched but a decent attacking side.....
1-0 would be nice with the winning goal off BFG'S arse.....
See they've got R's fan Albert playing for them.....
Forest on front foot early
Some rash play by us, under pressure from Forest
That’s just awful. How is Kane even marking that bloke?
0-1. Direct from a corner. It had been coming from the first minute.
Absolutely horrible goal to let in.....so fekin easy.
Catalogue of errors for the goal
Soft goal to give away....Kane underneath the ball their guy just attacks the ball...
F@cking shambles yet again. Are we really making progress??
Watson always plays far better against us than he ever did for us.
Strong side Forest tbf having spent a few bob. Good idea to give them an early goal and lull them into a false sense of security.
Looks like it's going to be another long evening....
C'mon R's get a grip...
We aren't even an average Championship side sadly
It looks like they have twelve men on the midfield....
Let’s keep a little bit of faith at least until they score a second.
Can we go all season with no clean sheet and survive?
Good corner sadly.
They've gone 3 and half hours without conceding....
Watson so much better than any R’s whole time....
Next corner they get created more panic.
I’m getting bored. Might turn over to the Apprentice.
Awful. We cant pass. We cant trap the ball. Wrong decisions time after time. We are going backwards.
What has happened to us?
We got better as the first 45 went on, but not much threat. We look so soft in both penalty areas. Only Eze is gving them real problems.
I was surprised about hugill, one shining light from the fulham game but hey what do I know...we're pretty poor though
Better last 10 mins, but pretty poor overall. Lacking intensity, letting forest call the shots. Wake up R's
Well let's hope things improve second half
Really need to shake things up
Not sure how we can come out all guns blazing at fulham and then return to this
Olly on the pitch at half time. Super fella, not too sure what he's talking about. Disappointing first half despite 70% possession. Surely we can muster an equaliser?
Grim first half, I don’t know what it looks like on TV but very poor, passing & build up crap, need to bring on Hugill & Samuel
Hugilll on at half time. How did Amos start ahead of him?
Lumley pass an inch off Grabban. Chair into the upper stand again.
Seemed a very harsh red...arms were on his shoulder but he went down very readily.
Bounced and running side by side through on goal, and he put his arms on their strikers shoulders and the striker went down...a harsh red for me.
Great chance for Ball and he fluffs it
So....how many will we concede now?
We are heading south very rapidly
Yepp. Hardly a booking let alone red for me. Manning got tackled studs up off the ground couple of minutes after got yellow.
It is a crazy match.
We are winning the “statistics” but are losing - and now with only 10 men.
I wish we could defend like Forest!
I’d totally forgotten that nonce Robinson played for them.
Has Eze touched the ball this half?
