Hope so.  This will be signing 'no.9' and it's the key one.

Some tremendous work done so far in the best transfer window since...well, I can't remember a better on in the last twenty years, that's for sure.

Fair enough.  They don't want to be left hanging on...and then he goes elsewhere.  He either wants to be at Forest or he doesn't.

If he wants to go to Birmingham?  That's his lookout.

Hopefully common sense will prevail and signs for Forest.  I think it would be good for Forest and him.

If not, Forest need to set deadlines so they can move onto other targets on their striker list.

Hope Grabban signs.  It sounds like we'll find out real soon one way or the other.

Lewis Grabban scored 20 goals while on loan in the Championship last season
Nottingham Forest are in talks to sign Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News understands a deal is close to being finalised for a fee in the region of £5m, although Birmingham City are also interested in the 30-year-old.

Grabban has struggled to break into Bournemouth's starting line-up since signing for £7m from Norwich in January 2016.

He has been loaned out to Reading, Sunderland and Aston Villa in that time, impressing in the Sky Bet Championship last season, scoring 20 goals in 28 starts for the Black Cats and Villa.

Bournemouth could be willing to let Grabban leave having signed forward David Brooks from Sheffield United on Sunday.
