Faz is quote in the 'report' as saying trophies were missing from the trophy cabinet but he didn't make a fuss or say a word.

Can the current owners have these and memorabilia returned?

Instead of the TV screens, the City Ground needed a good cleaning and a good paint.  It was looking unloved under previous owners.  The ground looked decent back in 1996.  In recent times?  Unloved.  Rusty.  Dirty.  Tired.  Faded paint to go with the faded glories.

Credit the new owners.  They cleaned it up.  A paint job.  Tried up what they can with the tough lines and dug outs receiving some care and attention.

The new City Ground development is more a reflection of our current owners than our previous owners.

Actions.  Not words.

I see Sky have followed up and reported in a similar manner to report from two days ago.

If we have had to pay up, with interest accruing, and legal fees, then someone at the club has f****d up big time.

That casts doubt on any appeal being worthwhile.

Has anyone got a link to the judgement?

You always rely on the advice of your solicitors in these matters. There must have been a good chance of the legal action being successful. Sometimes things are not straightforward.

I don't bother about any of this anyway. The club have said it will have no effect on the club, the budget, ffp etc so why should I care if one mega rich millionaire owes another mega rich millionaire a few quid?

So basically Fawaz won despite loads of liabilities not being available to the buyer at the time of purchase. Did Marinakis get the club for £1 plus honouring debt owed to creditors? Hassan saef doesn’t come out of it very well and the professionalism of using watts app and text just goes to show what idiots we had in charge.

I always wonder why the American bid never went through though. They paid fawaz £5m upfront which then marikanakis then took over.

Ventroz also seems to be a bit of a hard negotiator too, not a bad thing!
