Ani is on 25K a week?
It's not like he's Velios. There's at least 'something' with Ani'. Might be worthy persevering with.
But we do need another couple of strikers in.
Grabban needs competition. Murphy. Looks past even a '10 min' super sub' appearance from comments on here.
At least a couple.

SA. Think they are referring to Grabban, although I believe it is more like 30K

You lot are mad if you're advocating selling our top striker, one year into his contract, who had he been fully fit, would have easily scored over 20 goals this season. He was being wrapped in cotton wool by MON to get him through to the end of the season. That limited playing time will stand him in good stead, and with the summer off, he'll be back to his peak fitness in August.

Don't think anyone is really advocating selling him Pap.
More a discussion about the different permutations of what might or might not happen.
Think hand on heart we all want him to stay providing that he is fit and strong enough to play in the majority of games next season.

Some of us are advocating selling Grabban.
We have seen 2 Grabbans this season. 2018 and 2019. The 2018 Grabban is the 1st name on everyone teamsheet, and best striker we have had for years. The 2019 Grabban isn't good enough for the bench. If the 2018 Grabban isn't coming back then sell. As someone else said, someone has a big call.
Due to the Sunderland documentary there is a question mark over his attitude, also his injuries. We fans have no real way of knowing whats going on with a player, we can only see the results.

If he is used sparingly as a third choice, impact sub type of player he will be useful to have around; if we are relying on a regular contribution we are in trouble.
I would have though that Grabben's omission from the side related to his injury problems; I certainly hope so or we have another good player on a high wage, sidelined due to non footballing reasons.
Another player who we cannot move on because other clubs cannot or will not match the wage he is on.
I was hoping a Director of Football would put an end to this carry on and insist managers use the players at their disposal, particularly when this specific player has just scored 16 goals in 39 appearances.
Notwithstanding that, we certainly need another decent forward if we have any designs on promotion.
There was talk of Ipswich offering a two year contract.

Vellios spouting off on twitter that he is back.
Are we supposed to care? Hope we can get rid for good this summer.
