Only Colback is good enough, possibly Byram but can he stay fit? Too much risk for me.

Bridcutt was consistently overlooked by AK and now MoN's doing the same. 

MoN has now given all the players a fair crack to show what they can do, with the exception of Bridcutt (and Jamie Ward) meaning he cant be doing it in training. Or maybe his attitude is good but he's just not as good as we think he is.

Bridcutt’s attitude when playing for the 23’s has been first class.
I can’t see that being dramatically different from training?
Leaving the assumption that he’s not rated by MoN or Keano - which surprises me.

It is being widely reported MON wants to sign Byram. I've not seen anything myself in games to say he is worth signing but he has had a injury hit season and never really got going so maybe in training he has shown some true quality.

A year long loan is the least risky and probably the most likely. He has talent, that's plain to see.

But the problem is not the contract, it's the hole left in the squad if he does break down again. If we play 3 at the back a lot next season we're going to need 2 players who can play at right wing back so they can rotate for games. If Byram breaks down it's a big ask of the other guy to play Saturday & Tuesday bombing up and down the pitch.

Totally agree, it’s the missing player loan or not, no matter h ow good they are they could make or break our season

Plus if we are to continue with 3 at the back and Byram breaks down then we would most likely have to play Cash in the right wing back roll because in my opinion that system doesn't really suit Darikwa although I would be happy to be proved wrong on that.

Byram = Good player but huge risk. Is it a risk we can afford to take?

Me too. 

That’s the risk of allowing any management team to deal with transfers. We don’t address the deadwood, we just replace it with like for like for the next manager.
