Later in the season, we played away at Sunderland and Einar broke his leg. He never played for us again and I think he went back to Norway and may have played for a lower league club. Was looking a class act at the side of Burnsy.

I was fortunate to be at Roker Park when Collymore tore them a new one, what a great day that was and quite a fair bit going on outside the ground afterwards!

Was he really good? I didn’t see that barring one cross.

There was an incident in the second half when we were still one nil down and the A Block were getting at him for (yet again) turning inside and passing responsibility to his full back, he turned to the crowd and gesticulated for them to calm down and it did not go down well with some. I full expected him to get hauled off after that, and anyone who has seen the Harry Winks video from this week will know that whatever is being thrown your way from your own fans generally has to be taken on the chin in public.

He was fortunate that MGW turned up and took the heat off him IMO.

Ironically it worked though as 30 seconds later he went on the outside and delivered a good cross for an assist. He is a frustrating player that hasn’t got the same credit in the bank as the equally frustrating CHO. He has though had a positive impact for us and one which can develop and grow. At least it showed he actually cares…

Weirdly I read his conduct as someone who didn’t care.

I hope he comes good but for me he has not done anywhere enough so far to justify his fee.

Einar looked a classy player, I think but for the injury he would have been one of our best ever players.

I think Hutchinson is a confidence player and he is still just a young kid.

He got Dyched and had his confidence ripped out of him.

I think he has done fairly well recently and there is a very talented player in there, definitely worth keeping around for next season.

Seriously the Dyche hate is well over the top and frankly tedious.

You may remember Postecoglu and Nino never played Omari at all. Dyche was the one to introduce him.

The price tag was too high but we do have a good player with a lot of potential

Think you are exaggerating a bit SM.

Since when have we not discussed current players and previous managers?

Yes we do discuss previous managers and thats fair. Find it a bit odd that no blame ever seems to be pinned on Postecoglou who seemed to confuse everyone. Nuno obviously didn’t help matters but the players reaction to him after the West Ham game told me there were no hard feelings.

Im not going to compare Vitor with others until the end of the season but the signs are positive, I like how he adapts strategy within the game, something Dyche never did and the players seem to be responding to him for now although hard to say who’s game has improved individually. Well Jair Cunha obviously I suppose.

Thought Omari did reasonably well under Dyche but he has blown a bit hot and cold all season. A lot of hope pinned on him now with CHO out. Sorry but yes I have given up on Ndoye and Bakwa for anything other than a few minutes off the bench.

Nuno's issue was probably with Edu rather than Omari. I reckon there will have been a list of potential wingers prepared, Nuno will have selected his preference, choice A, choice B etc and then Omari turns up who was probably bottom of his list. Traore will have been choice A and Nuno will have known he was available at a snip. The same probably happened with McAtee and a number of the other signings, Nuno's opinion being overruleds by Edu who thinks he knows better that a coach who almost delivered CL football to the club.

This very same thing might also happen next season with Vitor. I gather Wolves sold all their talent from under his feet and it went downhill soon after.
