Dyche In/Out

Based on his past clubs I wouldn't say that is the case, so given that the initial up-tick he got is now blown out, the players don't seem to really be that engaged with the system/style/match setup so really what is the point in persisting with him?
The squad he has here shows Dyche needs a certain style of player available to implement his "system" or play and the players here are not that, has just proven he can't manage higher quality players and I think despite what ever he said about the window that the club don't support him long term either. e.g. If McNeil was available, why didn't we move for him? Is this really a decision based on there not being someone else unemployed to drop in?? Not saying the players aren't also responsible but this is alarming now

Dyche seems caught between the old-school 442 long ball that did well with Burnley and trying to adapt to a more modern game. Now he’s caught in a no man’s land between possession football and route one. Everton fans were completely sick of his lack of results and poor style of football and that’s playing out here too. I appreciate that he loves the club but it’s not going to be enough to keep us up

If he loves the club he should quit tomorrow and f**k off.

Yes I apologise.

I'm expecting an almighty reaction Vs Wolves. That'll show us where the players are.

I think fans deserve an explanation of the colossal series of c**k-ups led us to this-and there is plenty of blame for everyone to get a heaping portion.
First, the supposed edict from on high that Nuno adopt a new style. Is this what set him off and caused him to behave like an infant? If this was true and those running the club wanted a brilliant new style, why did we appoint 2 tactically inept managers after Nuno left?

Next, one of the poorest preseasons in memory. Those at the top (choose whomever you want) moved far too slow in the transfer market. No chance the new players were going to have time to bed in. Nuno also, IMO sabotaged the preseason. You simply can't build a team by playing academy lads the entire preseason. People say preseason results don't matter. Bullshit! What did we score? 1 damn goal.

The players' efforts are just not good enough. If we played with half the desire that West Ham did against Burnley, we'd be clear by now. We don't have players with the nous of Summerville and Bowen. If West Ham stay up it will be because of these 2. The last really good performance by this team was against Spurs. They should have been called out for performances like we got against Swansea, Wrexham, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Brighton, Everton x2, and Leeds away. It's not good enough.

For me though, everything started with the chaotic summer that was allowed to drag on out of control. A club coming off a great season and heading into Europe cannot operate like this.

Ask yourself one question though.

EM forgave everything and offered Nuno a new contract right?

So what was it that Nuno then did for EM to have to remove him just a few weeks later?

Don't disagree. In my post I've pointed out the huge role Nuno played in all of this. Hell, I even think he sabotaged the West Hame game at the CG.

This is a disaster though and a huge sh** sandwich and everyone at the club needs to take a bite.

It's apearing to be a blame games with us supporters and I think it should be a collective from the very top and trickling down through the senior club administrators, various coaches/managers, players and finally the overdemanding pressure from us the fans (including myself) expecting so much more based on last season, we all appear to be blindsided and not progressive in much smaller steps. I have said in the past that I think we will go down although I hope this is not the case, do we know if the club is prepared and have planned for this Sniffer/Red73 and any other members close to the club?

I’m assuming that with that new contract there was promises made by both sides that issues would be solved moving forwards, obstacles removed etc?
Maybe things didn’t improve on one or both sides? And we are where we are.
I’m not attributing blame either side because I’ve no idea what has gone on at the football club over the summer.
All I know is that clearly EM wasn’t happy, hence him storming on the pitch after Leicester and not was Nuno, hence his outbursts.
And clearly whoever is to blame it’s resulted in an absolute S**t show of a season.

I have been supportive of Dyche etc but the team selection and set up for the Leeds game has reversed my thinking. I've tried to find a rationale for the selection of Morato to handle Calvert Lewin, Abbott to shut down their left wing and Hudson Odoi to provide the ammo instead of the in form Hutchinson. The set up had "surrender" written all over it. I think the only glimmer of hope is the new Italian lad as he looks useful.

This season for me is all about recruitment. Whoever was in charge of that needs sacking.

The recurring theme has been first XI ok, any backups are all terrible. That goes beyond the managers we've had. All beset with same problem

Syrianos is only one I trust tbh.
