I think what complicates our case more than others is that as far as I am aware other MCO are not fans of the clubs involved, it is purely business but with our case we have a MCO who's first love is Olympiakos.

I think when an Olympiakos talent goes to another club as is the case with Kostoulas it softens the blow a bit with the Olympiakos fans.

I am not saying we will never sign a top talent from Olympiakos because we might but I don't think we shouldn't expect it or demand it because as I have tried to explain above it's a bit complicated.

Makes sense to me Sniff. Also you just know if we paid say £35m for an Olympiacos player and he did very well then accusations would be thrown. Likewise if we paid that amount and he turned out useless. Either way we or EM would be looked at as having done something dodgy.

Everyone always refers to Brighton as the type of club and model to follow mainly because of their sales record. Yet for all that and the notion they are a well run club I’m sure I read an article by Keiran Maguire the other day showing Brighton losing over £1m a week and having to be propped up by their owner.
