That was unforgivable by some out there. A quick fact check here. Diakhaby was hot property, he was signed by Monaco as a potential replacement for Mbappe and had played for France U21s, he signed for Huddersfield for £10m But he was useless which gives the conclusion he was overrated to begin within and the suspicion his feee was inflated by agents and Huddersfield fell for it. See the parallels with us now? Im not deflecting off Dyche at all and your point about coaching is valid but again Im saying there is a collective failure.

However I wouldn't let that get in the way of sacking Dyche. Then put a caretaker in charge from the under 21's and advertise the job to see who applies (which is what they should have done when Ange left). That is what I would do anyway.

The most important thing is to get the next appointment right. If we can do that now, then great, if we have to wait until the summer then the next 20ish games will a tough watch, but we've all been here before!

Last night broke me.
The Fulham and Everton (H) matches were my real first worries, Wrexham felt like Ange vs Swansea, but last night was the final straw. I've had enough of this guy. I can't stand the "tactics". I can't stand the performances. I can't stand his nonsense, excuse-filled interviews. He's got to go before it's too late. And if we can't convince anyone to take over, that's not enough of a reason not to get rid of him, I'd ask Warren Joyce to have a crack at it because this is getting worse and the boos last night were justified. Time for Marinakis to fix this mess now before we're back in the relegation places.

I think the public berating of players after Wrexham was a big mistake. I think some players don't want to play for him after that and others are too scared to make a mistake because of it and they are hiding. We have some good talented players but what we don't have is a system of play where everyone knows their role and whoever is in the team knows what is expected of them. WE DO NOT HAVE AN IDENTITY and that is down to Dyche. I don't like to call for a manager to be sacked but he is on borrowed time as far as I am concerned and the longer it goes on, the more trouble we will be in.

I think (would hope) if it wasn’t for the fact we have 3 games in quick succession and 3 very important games then he’d be gone after last night. It’s difficult as any replacement would be straight in with no prep time so 50/50 as to whether or not we actually see any improvement or do better in those games. I suppose the only hope of doing so would be if Dyche really has lost the dressing room and him gone means the players somehow remember how to play/lift their performances just because he has gone.

Is that not akin to getting rid of a striker in the hope of getting a decent one in and having to play matches with a winger up top though. FWIW I came on here to get away from the ridiculous vitriol on X. I'm only interested in defeats in the premier league. The only competition that matters following the shambles he came in to sort. I can't get upset about a game we rotated and would have won if MGW could score from 12 yds

Think there is a bigger picture than that mate.
