Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany

My point is more would you expect Silva to do better next season? What he has at Fulham is a stable squad to work with and implement his ideas. That’s realistically something he would never get at this club.

Why would he never get it at this club?

If results and performances are good and he has a good working relationship with Edu then why would there be a problem?

Its not how we operate. We change the squad every year without fail. You said a few days ago Oly did the same after winning their league, its what EM does.
Any manager who comes in will have to deal with a huge turnover in playing staff, that’s a fact.

For me keep him until we are confirmed safe then make a decision as quickly as possible so we have a stable base for pre-season. If there’s already rumblings of discontent we can’t afford to let that drag on all summer again

Silva will know that though Sal.

I am sure he would't take the job if it was a problem.

It is a problem though.

It’s how we operate.
We are so good at selling squad players for profit, it keeps the tills ringing. We will never venture from a high turnover policy, it’s how EM operates.
However we typically only sell 1 of the starters each season.

We even made 15m profit on Vlac.
Profits on squad players that are dispensable is never a bad thing.

Yeah I get it. I'll be honest it puts me off football. It's not the 1 starting player we sell that bothers me, it's the handful we sign each year that never play.

Well it may be a problem for some but not for all.

For example it was no problem for Pedro Martins and neither is it a problem for Mendilibar.

I am sure if given a chance it wouldn't be a problem for Dyche either.

At Fulham Silva has the opposite problem and he wants to leave apparently.

I think true reflection needs to be taken when the season has finished. Walked into a car crash and gave everybody including the crowd a lift, results followed and as someone said he's a MGW penalty away from being top 8 in Europa.

There's no denying that there's been a drop off but we all watched last year's team with Chris Wood struggle to break down Everton and the worst teams in recent PL history. I think thats more down to how this team is built that particular tactics. I maintain that Chris Wood's absence has been the most sorely felt this season.

I find the hysteria (mainly on X) around the recent run baffling to be honest. I'm comfortable with Dyche as the English Nuno, I see alot of similar criticism from the season Nuno took over being repeated with Dyche. I accept however, i dont see Dyche getting us top 10 in the PL and given that where our owner wants to be, it perhaps will signal the decision come May.

That said, at the end of that 23/24 season when we finished 17th, 6 points ahead of Luton, who saw Nuno getting us top 10?

Glasner is available then. Be surprised if he ends up here.

Why do most on the forum seem to want Siilva should we make a change at the end of this season, we should be looking now at potential upcoming young posibilites ready to move if this is the route EM wants us go down in the future?
