A significant number of fans are leaving at 80 minutes. Just don't come back.

Personally I fail to see that and don't think it would have made any difference.

It's not like Jesus missed a shed load of chances.

The final balls into the box were poor.

We didn't lose that game because Chris Wood didn't play.

Why isnt Jesus getting any plaudits? His ability to take a long ball, fend off the defender and start a play is phenomenal. He's miles ahead of Wood in that regard. He's becoming acclimatised to the premier league as now. The only thing missing is goals but he's been unlucky in a few of the chances hes had.

I really like him Pap and I stand with you.

Doesn't he have 5 goals this season?

Also he was so unlucky to have that one ruled out at Liverpool.

And that was a great save from their keeper with his leg yesterday when Jesus got that low shot away heading straight for the bottom corner.

Going to be controversial here….I like him, he works hard, but I also think we are overrating him. He is a different type of player to Wood and I think he would be better with Kalimuendo playing alongside him but that would mean a change from our established 4231.
As a lone striker I don’t think he causes a defence enough problems and Wood is more effective. A top 10 PL side has better than Jesus up front, there I’ve said it.

Agreed. We shouldn't be playing tactics to suit wood, if wood isn't playing, we definitely shouldn't be crossing balls into a 5ft 9in kalimuendo, the wingers should know now he needs ball to feet. He will be one of the sacrifices in jan to buy new players, and its a shame. Proper reminds me of britt. Britt would struggle in this team with these tactics too

Agreed totally. Im a big fan of jesus. Just needs to add goals to his game. Wood would be third choice in my eyes. But we all know as soon as hes fit, jesus looses his spot

Yes I agree.

Lets be honest Wood is not going to have another season like last season.

He is 34 next birthday and when he has played this season he has looked a shadow of last season.

I would stick with jesus and keep developing him because he has all the makings of being a top player in my opinion.

Plus top 10 PL sides is setting the bar too high to make comparisons. We were bottom of the Championship 4 years ago and heading into league one.

It is, but top 10 is our aspiration and was also our expectation before the start of the season.

My opinion, a fit and firing Chris Wood gets us there, Jesus doesn’t unless as mentioned above we adapt our tactics significantly to suit him better. I think he is a useful option but not quite at the level as a regular starter.

Wood would have scored today we miss him badly, for all the efforts we never worked their keeper.
As said Morato has a calamity in him every game.

Wood and Murillo play and we draw minimum, more likely win.

Don't agree with the keeper bit, from where we were sat (TE Upper) it looked like he made the save of the game at 1-0.
First the points and then the pints….

To be fair he was always going to look a shadow of last season.

The reality is that his goals per minutes this season is actually still decent and typically Chris Wood in any other season.

I think there is a part for both to play to be honest. Jesus is playing too many games, having not had a decent rest in the Summer.

Wood needs to stop playing for New Zealand.
