If we don’t seize the opportunity now and wait for more games to pass, the season may be gone.
Then we really would be left with Dyche etc as the choices.

However, in that scenario (and that scenario alone), Dyche might not be the worst option- as long as he understood it was just to steady the ship until the summer when a new guy comes in (like Silva at the end of his contract).

That said, I’m hoping for decisive action and a better calibre of manager.
As sniff suggests, advertise the job.

Maybe Edu can repair some of this mess by pulling a superstar coach out of the hat.

Edu's not really been talked about much on this forum. 

I know he used to be a good player for the Arse, but who the f is he now and how exactly is he qualified to come into our club and see off the most successful manager we've had in a generation? Arsenal fans may love the guy but in my world he's a nobody.

Not sure Arsenal fans love him other than appreciating he got them Arteta. Vrentzos got us Cooper but I still didn’t want the bloke anywhere near our transfer policy.

Really torn on this. I don’t want to hound out a new manager without giving him a chance and it reflects very badly on the club if we do. Don’t forget lets hypothetically say Glasner is available (he isn’t) he will be looking at Sky Sports thinking Stuff that Im not going there they want my head on a plate if they don’t win their 2nd home game. We know there was more to the situation but a quick read of all national media simply says “Marinakis sacked Nuno after he took Forest to Europe”. We don’t look an attractive proposition.

But then again as above I just dont see him coming back from this, he managed a more pragmatic approach yesterday but even if he keeps that I don’t see the system working. I would give him the 6 games until the international break but it does seem futile.

Basically keeping him until it becomes socially acceptable to sack him! 

Ideally spend the next month working his on replacement and get someone the fans will be more willing to back. Then stick with tradition and announce it after Ange's first win at home to Leeds  :Funny:

Marinkas sacked Carlos Corberan after 6 weeks (11 games) in 2022. Here's a comment from an Oly fan about it:

I do feel sorry for Ange but his managerial record with us so far apparently broke a record dating back to 1920 something for the worst ever start by a Forest Manager.

Someone said earlier on he doesn't want to admit his mistakes and not preparing for Midtjyland last week (by not taking set pieces seriously) seems unforgivable to me.

Based on some videos from yesterday though not one of the players acknowledged him at full time either so I think he has lost the dressing room.

Given that all the coaching staff come with the head coach these days, I assume we can’t get rid of Ange without the new guy being lined up elsewhere what happens in training? If we’re paying him and his team they may as well get the bibs out for the lads.

EM missed a trick when he fired Nuno as we could have kept all his coaches. It seems some of them would have been amenable to that as they apparently liked working for Forest.

If indeed Ange actually doesn't do the coaching but just watches then we definitely could have kept them.

Ah it's all moot now. Can someone get Marco Rose on the blower. I think he is still available and since he's German probably has some discipline in him.
