They also have a fanbase that don’t go quiet when things aren’t going well.

That will change - the city ground will be back rocking - I’m sure. Just not sure how long it will be and with who as manager…

Not sure about that, seen Leeds quiet plenty of times, definitely not slow to turn on a manager either. That said the stuff about Forest having the best fans in the league is a myth. Cooper galvanised us for a bit, before that we were bang average as long as I can remember, going back well over 30 years. We have mostly been apathetic though, not seen us turn on a manager like on Thursday since McLaren. Not even Hughton who deserved far worse.

Ange wasn’t in charge for many of the games in that intervening period.

There was only one set of fans that could really be heard when Spurs went two one up. Personally I’m still reeling from Thursday and how we conducted ourselves. I can’t remember the last time I was so embarrassed to be a Forest fan

Leeds have some of the best away fans in the country but I've been there plenty of times when it's sing when they are winning only. Same with most clubs. You think Sunderland have been bouncing about at home until things turned around. The difference with us is that it is suicide. We've done it to ourselves.

I know off topic now but this discussion is making me think of the parallels with season 2011/12 when we had Mclaren.
We dispensed with a popular manager, Billy Davies (mk1) and replaced with a manager nobody thought was a good idea in Mclaren. We also lost Rob Earnshaw on a free and everyone could see the good work of the previous season unraveling and turned on Mclaren very quickly indeed. Our incomings that season included Jonathan Greening. This season well we signed Jesus. See the similarities?

I was in the away end at Ewood Park in 1992 when Forest fans were signing ‘Clough out’
The man that won us 2 European Cups ! Football fans are fickle

That was being sung in Seville actually. At 2-1 up I reckon that was the peak feeling in the last 30 years of following Forest. How the mood has shifted in the last 10 days is quite mind boggling.

I made the mistake of watching Brentford Man City. Like watching paint dry. This possession rubbish is a pox on the game.
