We weren't in Europe when we appointed Nuno.

Ange is also a bigger profile manager and bigger personality. And yes... Cooper went at the start of the busy Christmas period just before a transfer window while Nuno went during a quiet international break after a transfer window.

We are also a higher profile team now and the whole sacking is more controversial.

Attention will soon turn back to the big 6 as we approach the weekend

I saw he did an article about Edu but it's paywalled so didn't read it.

Ange has given his first interview to Forest TV. Not watched it yet.

Nothing is paywalled ever.

I have been quiet the last few days because I wanted to take time to reflect.

Conclusion:

Slightly disappointed with Nuno for 'engineering' his dismissal and that of his coaching staff (Heard some of them weren't very happy about Nuno speaking out).

Having listened to some of Ange's interviews I am already warming to him.

Welcome Ange and good luck.

Loved everything about the Ange interview. I was gripped to his every word. Bring on the ride, I am very excited by what qe are about to embark on.

It was a powder puff interview yesterday and Ange was trying to find complementary words about us without really believing in them. Today's press conference will be more interesting, when the national media get to ask him some more testing questions.

Yes think we will get a better idea at today’s presser than the usual “huge honour, great history, passionate fans” nonsense that gets trotted out every time.

Im warming to the idea of him though with a few caveats around the suitability of some of the squad in particular in defence.

I see that during the interview there's a short clip of him greeting and putting his arm round Hutchinson...
