The Premier League 2025/26
Fair play to Chelsea for this:

Chelsea will use a portion of Club World Cup bonuses paid to players to make a financial donation to the family of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva.

The west London club were crowned champions of FIFA’s newly-expanded tournament in July, defeating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the final at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Their success in the tournament earned the club an estimated $114.6million (£84.4m).

Chelsea have subsequently allocated a $15.5m (£11.4m) fund to be distributed equally between the players who represented Enzo Maresca’s side during the tournament, with a decision made jointly between club and players that an equal payment will also be made to Jota’s family.

OK decent gesture but….
1. What has either player got to do with Chelsea?
2. I’m pretty certain that devastating as the loss is for that family they aren’t short of money.
3. There are plenty of needy charities in south west London that could benefit instead.

Just watching last seasons review on Sky- god they hate us! Our best season in years and we were hardly on apart from when we played the Sky 6. Man U and Spurs on more than us - tossers!

Was just about to say how well Bournemouth were doing in coming back from 2-0 down at Anfield but Chiesa has just put Liverpool back ahead.

Im afraid you've got me to blame.for that. I put the game on and turned over at 2-0 to Trump/Putin on the news. Turns back a bit later and its 2-2. I carry on watching and the scousers score. Damit.

I like Bournemouth more than Liverpool but Bournemouth are more our rivals when it comes to league positions so glad they lost.

Eze has apparently told Palace that he wants to move to Spurs. Doesn't want to play in the Conference League.

I made the last bit up.

Good debut for Elanga although missed a open chance early doors.

The villa Newcastle game is exactly what I expect out game to be like tomorrow. No team really on it and lots of mistakes and miss places passes.
Problem is I've got that lovely warm sun bursting through the window and the game is so full I might actually have a nap.

Watching Villa, Newcastle...

Geordies look half decent but as expected nothing upfront, and Villa look poor I think but saying that it is first game.

Get our players in we can be up there if this is the chasing pack!
COYR!
