Apparently Sunderland are making a statement in signing him they’re saying on Sky. What did they say when we signed Lingard and Morgan and all the others?

Newcastle going for Ramsdale after getting pied off by Trafford.

Be funny if he kept up his recent record of always being relegated.

They did to be fair. It was the know nothing pundits and Talkshite that said what we were doing was in some way wrong. Think even that lot now grudgingly acknowledge its the only way.

Ramsdale only going on loan to the toon. Did they f**k up giving us £50m up front? Not sure how it benefits Southampton loaning him, not sure what they’ve done in the window but they must feel confident they can bounce back

David Moyes in the press complaining about the number of players waiting for 'better offers' meaning Everton can't get anyone in for pre season.

I imagine it's a view shared across the other 14 (well, bar Sunderland!)

Can’t really remember that happening last year had the change in format to the champions league been a factor? More chance of the smaller teams staying in the tournament longer?
