The sale was in process yes. That the sale has now been completed should be irrelevant. The ruling was based on the March 1st deadline and on that take Textor still own the shares.

It certainly shouldn't influence CAS's decision.

I think it does reinforce the mroal case to reinstate them but I doubt that will be a decisive factor.

That's true but the moral case should be irrelevant. I thought CAS were meant to ensure that rules had been applied correctly - which regarding the deadline date they most definitely have.

Thats how i see it, the are the arbiters of process, not decision making.

Yep, definitely. My concern is that if the legal argument is a very close call, then the moral argument may be relevant.

Its a question purely of rules. Were the rules broken yes or no. Simple as that.

UEFA has already said yes, the rules were broken despite their efforts to inform Palace to comply.

The CAS has to decide if UEFA were correct that the rules were broken - thats all.

We're sending legal representation to CAS for the hearing as we've been named in Palace's appeal. Hearing due to take place next week.
