City will know they arent going to be champions of the PL this season and are hit and miss in the league, so will put all of their eggs into the CL basket to win that, so they stand a chance of competing in that competition next season.

Just my opinion of course

That is looking very doubtful now unfortunately.

They're only a goal down and there's no away goals rule anymore. With the talent in their team they could perhaps go to Madrid and get a one goal win, then win on pens? Unlikely but do-able.

Funnily enough though and we are speaking hypothetically of course if we were to lose the final to Bournemouth that could open up a European slot for us to sneak into.

I think that highlites the importance of our FA Cup campaign and how imporatant it is going to be.
