Its a bit of a change to watching Mustafa Carayol having another stinker and looking on the bench to see who can change things and we’ve got Dumitrui, Lica, Kasami, Lam and Zach Clough sitting there.

Elanga is clearly at the level of Newcastle wanting to spend 50 mill for him we just have to support our players.

Leicester is a tough game tomorrow. Hopefully we have more quality than them and keep our head because it's going to be a hostile.

Leicester have issues down their right hand side, as their right winger pushes inside and James Justin is left exposed on the counter when he pushes up. We could get some joy from Hudson-Odoi and Moreno down that side.

It's such an interesting one, as right now he doesn't seem to be the best option but we do want/need him to improve. Both if we want to sell him or play him and get goals.

I've never personally rated him that much and have been pretty consistent on that view but clearly the club and other clubs rate him so he must be doing something right.

I'd stick him in and hope a goal or an assist will trigger that confidence.

What does it say to Jota Silva if he isn't given a starting opportunity when he is performing well when he comes on? There are two sides to the support coin and it is a squad game.

Fatawu looked excellent on Saturday when he came on, a proper old skool winger.

Yes he did very Chris Waddle like performance from the young man. Need to be switched on down the wings. Think they will look to pin both fullbacks back with balls long and wide.

It's a long season, there are plenty of games for the bulk of the squad. This isn't about Elanga being poor, it's horses for courses.

Someone's posted the teams from our last game away at Leicester on Twitter and it's possible that none of our starting XI from that game will be starting tomorrow (only maybe MGW if he's fit with Awoniyi presumably on the bench). Murillo and Milenkovic at centre-back is some upgrade from Cook and McKenna (all due respect to them both).

Leicester's starting line-up that night had Castagne, Tielemans, Dewsbury-Hall, Barnes and Maddison - all gone now.

Crazy how that team got relegated with all that quality in it.
