If Zach Abbot isn’t getting in the squad does it just leave Yates (was ill in midweek) keeping our record of a home grown player going? It seems very much at risk this season? From April:

“ In all that time – 82 and a half years, 31 changes of manager (not including caretakers), roughly 850 players – the club have included a homegrown player, or someone for whom Forest was their first professional team, in every matchday squad.”

Yep, I guess if Yates is on the bench every week less likely to get injured or suspended. Hopefully if Yates was unavailable they'd put Abbott on the bench to keep the record going.
