How good opportunities some of these chances were is debatable but the fact remains why on earth haven’t we converted more of them?

I doubt it's available but would be great to see the breakdown between who the chances were for! Presume mainly Johnson

I would bet on him getting a shed load in the Championship but I don't believe we signed him for that reason.

I was just reading an article about Evan Ferguson at Brighton, they've been gagging for a striker for years and had plenty of failed big money attempts. Such a difficult position to fill as unsurprisingly everyone is looking for one and few teams have good ones and when they do they get snapped up. They think this guy could be good, kind of shows that the only way to get a decent striker outside of the big 6 is to train one up yourself. I guess you find someone that has the right athletic profile and they relentlessly stick with them the way Steve did with Brennan.

How's Dale Taylor doing?

Dale Taylor is a good prospect, but he’s a way off being ready for Prem football.
If we stay up Dale needs a good Championship loan next season

The other point that we know already is that we have a serious talent on our hands with MGW.

Could we keep him in the Championship? Depends on the money men. If Cooper stays maybe. If Cooper leaves he would probably follow him.

Presuming EM's backing would continue I don't see why we'd sell? On a long contract, we're not making a profit why would we let him go?

Taiwo, Wood and Surridge would all be in front of him

Taiwo won't be here... Most of this season's signing won't be. Most players who have signed will have a relegation release clause.. will be a summer of signings again.. I'm just enjoying the nice things like felipe taiwo, mouss. Mangala while we have them

Why? Where's he going? He's not that good, I doubt any of them have relegation release clauses (apart from Brennan maybe) I doubt anyone would even meet it, even if he did. (Happy if someone has inside information, even if they did have release clauses would presume they are at least as much as we paid)

I'm sure we'll lose a few but mainly as our squad is obviously way too big. Might be a case that we lose a few that we wouldn't have chosen just because we get offers. However, most teams that come down only lose 1 or 2 usually, unless they want to.
