The Premier League 2022/23

We just look so passive and not willing to put that meaty tackle to set the tone. I was hoping Shelvey might be that guy to help toughen up that midfield and allow the more creative players to be a bit more expressive. But with the introduction of the two new forwards we have lost a lot of shape without the ball and with a midfield and defence that isn't the quickest with our current available players we are just not able to get into games or close the ball.
The more games that go pass and the longer we stay out the bottom three is what i think we are counting on now. Limping to the finish line and hope for the best.

I think the problem is having 20 competent teams mean even home games against bottom half teams are very challenging. I bet if you go on the forum for every other team in the bottom 7 apart from maybe Wolves, they will be saying broadly the same things you are.

Pretty much my views.

Yates and Kouyate will set a big difference to the mentality and competitiveness of the team.

Palace considering sacking PV. I consider this bad news for us. We really do need a moral boosting win tonight going into the break.

I've got a bad neck, in fact in agony with it but still gonna go tonight. Don't let us down lads. COYR

Why is this bad news? Sacking him now would just further destabilise them and there's no good candidates out there. As Leeds and Southampton proved.

Fast moving story, he's now been sacked. Let's see if they fare any better than Leeds and Southampton

Surely they must have someone lined up?

I read yesterday they wanted Kompany or Carrick. Can't see either leaving this close to the end of the season.

Bit of an open goal for whoever comes in though with the.fact they've had such a hard run of fixtures

You would have thought so unless Dougie Freedman is stepping up

Just looked they've not played a single team in the bottom half yet this year so not overly surprising they didn't win any games. Unless they get Nathan Jones they'll be fine
