Hopefully he's below their radar.

I just dont think that these top clubs are prepared to consider people like Cooper. He'd need to go to a top side in another country first.

I would agree except I don't think Spurs are as big as the others and are more willing to bring in a younger manager. Hopefully not

Maybe but they've had Mourinho and now have Conte. Id say they're playing the glamour puss game now.

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper has dismissed speculation that he could replace Antonio Conte as Tottenham manager.

I did read earlier in the Athletic that Luis Enrique is their top target. They listed a few others too that were clearly briefed and none were Cooper so seems pretty safe. So long as this shortlist doesn't get rejected.

Hopefully the certainty of Conte to leave means they can lock down one of their top targets.

I have been told that crystal palace are putting feelers out to see if they removed their current manager if cooper or another would be interested in taking over. Might be one to keep an eye on.

Interesting they are not happy with Viera, thought he was highly rated.

No chance Cooper would go there, they have a lower budget than us and their current squad minus Zaha is probably similar to ours.

Sure Palace would be wasting their time.

I know some think that we can't criticise the manager but we can.

He needs to take some of the responsibility for our dreadful form.

I make it 2 points from 15 Steve.

Sort the f****r out.

No-one is saying you can't criticise him. That doesn't mean everything that's happening is his fault either though. Or that making loads of different selections or tactics would suddenly have this team dominating.

5 points if you go back one more game too. How many did you expect from this run seriously?

Fulham away - loss
City home - loss
West Ham away - draw
Everton home - win
Spurs away - loss

Did you expect more than 4 points from those games? 5 maybe?

The buck stops with the manager Wassy anyone will tell you that if they are honest with themselves.

Cooper gets lauded when things are going well (and so he should) but he should also get questioned when things are not going well and from where I am sitting things are looking pretty bad.

It could be just as easily 0 points Wassy.

You keep wanting to go back one game more to dress it up a bit better but I think going back 5 games is more than enough.

The game going back one game more that you refer to is Leeds, we somehow managed to win but we were second best and they actually hammered us.

City could have hammered us too. Like I said it could be easily 0 points.

Cooper needs to start earning his money.
