Every team getting free shots against us on the edge of the box. We can't beat a simple press because our defenders aren't anywhere near good enough. Not saying it should happen, but, I thunk Cooper is getting the boot.
And these players aren't average. Dennis, 16 GC last year in the prem, Niakhate Mainz captain, Freuler Atalanta captain, Lodi played for Athletico and Brazil, Aurier captains the Ivory Coast, Awoniyi plays for Nigeria and scored a load last season. Ridiculous to say they are average.
Yep, its not right and the coach carries the can. These things need sorting. They're basic errors.

The worrying thing about that is Cooper keeps f*****g picking him.

Hes been our best player.
Please tell me that's a joke, the lad has been an embarrassment.

Imagine Leicester fans were saying similar about Rodgers and they played pretty well tonight. Not sure why a change of manager is suddenly going to turn the players into world beaters.
The players need to learn at this level, so does the manager. Becoming the new Watford is not going to make us a better team in the long run.

We just need to be organised. Then we'll see if there's any talent in the squad. We're a shambles who need sorting out by a manager than knows the prem well. Dyche.

Yeah sorry that was my mistake..
So then, can Dyche pick 4 of our registered 13 defenders who would be capable of getting a clean sheet?

Martins hasn’t signed the contract at Wolves yet has he?
Wouldnt be surprised if EM is on the phone to him right now.

I’d say it’s 7/10 likely that Cooper goes after this. Add this to the contract situation and both parties might feel that something isn’t working.
As for possible options:
Dyche- knows the league, can stabilise a club and do well in the Champ if needed. Likes physical and strong players, which we have a few of.
Nuno Espírito Santo- Working in Saudi Arabia, might cost a lot to buy out. Plays a 523/532 and has done well with a smaller side.
Bo Svensson- Done great things with Mainz and was linked to the Brighton job. Plays a high pressing 3412 formation. Up and coming but an unknown quantity.
Kjetil Knutson- current Boro/Glimt manager. Again, his name pops up with other sides after he’s done really well in Europe.
Bigger names:
Lopetegui… maybe?
Bordalas- Did well with Getafe, but failed at Valencia
Quique Setien- unlikely
Tedesco- could be worth an investment of time and still very young.
Or a more exciting and left field direction… Bielsa or Sampaoli

Percy saying Benitez in the frame as a possible replacement.
I guess pedigree-wise he’s a step up but personally I’m not keen. Don’t like him or his dour football and Everton were dreadful under him.
