Good read that. Its the same process at most clubs Im sure but the complexity of doing that with 22 new players is something else.

Also goes to show there is far more to it than just football. We have this expectation that new signings will fit in and start playing straight away but what you have is young lads in a foreign country, language and culture issues, new living arrangements, wives and girlfriends unhappy because they have uprooted their own lives, its all has to fit together to work.

Yup. I think fans are guilty at times of forgetting that footballers are actually human beings with feelings and emotions rather than just football-playing robots.

Cafu's wife gave birth to a baby just before the Everton game. Perhaps explains why he hasn't sought a move away.

True but on the other hand they are extremely pampered and privileged.

Aurier in training but still awaiting visa approval before he can play so won't be in tomorrow's squad.

Its a bit naughty but you can park in the Infirmary car park off Havelock street, tell them you are visiting someone if asked. There are also a few private car parks on the same road but will fill up quickly.
Its only about 30 min walk from city centre and Highcross if you cant find anything better.
Let me know if you come across a spare ticket!

Well that's what the Post reported but then the official Twitter account just tweeted a picture of him in full kit at the City Ground. Not sure they'd do that if we were still waiting any approvals.

It's obviously all good but they just can't be arsed to tell us.
