The Sheep Shaggers In The Championship With A Tenner In The Bank

They are going to have to rebuild within their means, they don't have much. L1 revenues and the owner does not have deep pockets.
It took Forest 3 years, Sunderland, Charlton, Bolton, Wigan are just a few of the clubs that have struggled.

I think its easier when you've got no players, not stuck with a load of players clogging the wage bill on high wages that aren't good enough. Clean slate, can broadly use the academy, I think they'll be top 6

I agree but it is possible to spring back in one season. Wigan just did it. Didn't Blackburn do it a few years ago too?

Some debate over whether it us 400k or £1 million.

Think Cooper would have turned him into a top player. Shame this one.

Sheep are signing Conor Hourihane but Ravel Morrison is leaving.

Good signing that is for a 3rd division club. I had him down as a former Cooper player who Cooper might want to get in for some experience. Shows how much I know.

He must have turned down many more lucrative offers than the one the sheep will be offering. Why step into a disaster zone and choose them? My gues is that they must be the only side he's confident of getting games in.

I'm really surprised at this one. Would have thought a side like Sunderland or other mid table Championship side would be all over that.

Unless there is something I don't know, he should be a great signing.

That said, I said the same about Harry arter so you never know

Would love to get shot of Arter to the sheep, his current wages are probably the Derby squad combined though. Think we will have to suck it up and pay off his contract.
Yes Hourihane is very decent for L1 especially if they have a very young squad.

Hourihane must be turning down decent signing-on fees elsewhere to sign for them. And they cant be offering decent wages either.  If he's taking a personal hit then fair play to him I suppose. It must be so easy to choose a club like a Cardiff or a Millwall or someone, taking your wages but playing few games.
