Maybe but he would have to take a significant wage cut or we agree to pay up his contract. Not sure Brum would pay much of a transfer, maybe a small undisclosed fee keeps both parties happy.

They could take over his current contract. He'll have 1 year left on it in the summer so they might be able to afford it for  just1 year if there's no fee involved.

They may give him the same over 2 years - which for him maybe the best option. We did similar with gueddy and Ben Watson

20k a week is not too far out of their reach surely? 12k or so a week over 2 years would be a good net gain for him tbf. Good luck to the lad  never gave less than 100%.

Some interesting games tonight:

Sheffield United v QPR*
Millwall v Swansea
Peterborough v Luton*

*live on Sky

I’d like QPR and Swansea wins please. If Peterborough could sneak a draw, even better

I think thats more in the ballpark.
I know an explayer who worked on the deal with his agency, and whilst he could have been fibbing or exaggerating, there's no real reason for him to have done so.

So how many points do we think we are going to need to make the play off's i think it will be around 75 points. So 5 wins from 9 required.

If the teams around us average 2ppg then Blackburn will finish on 74 and Sheffield United on 75 so you'd have to think that we need to get above 75 to finish top six.

I think 74 will do it but will be tight, 76 definitely gets you in. Win our 4 home games we are about in the playoffs. Huge week with 6 points closer to that target up for grabs.

We could be well on the way come 5 on Saturday night.

Based only on on points per game for the whole season:
Fulham 97, Bournemouth 90.
Huddersfield and us will finish 3rd/4th on 76 points. Luton & Middlesboro 5th/6th with 75 points, Shef Utd 7th with 72.

Sheff U beating QPR tonight would put them pretty much out of it. Looks like it's down to the top 8.

Good finish for Peterborough, I watched the final 10 mins, they missed a sitter from 5 yards then my gf nearly choked when they hit the post with a screamer in injury time. Also enjoyed the Reading result
