What I enjoy now is seeing my team win and if not, put in a good shift.
Cooper has been a breath of fresh air to this club and long may it continue. Although I was a hughton supporter, thank goodness he’s gone.
With the main stand plans looking like it is advancing a big thanks to EM and additional applause to all the back room staff.
If we finish mid table or maybe top half them I’m ok with that this season with our crap start.

The top 2 maybe(?) gone.

But the other 4 play off places are up for grab(ban)s.

It's the softest league in years.  Less than a stone's throw away.

Any modicum of ambition in January and it's game on.

May as well be us vs Cov', QPR, Wilder's Boro'....

Without the wing backs flying on we look a very average side indeed. The front 3 were very poor again today.

Is it now 3 or 4 games thay Brennan has been dire? How he stayed on the pitch for the full game today is a mystery to me. Id definitely be giving Mighten a chance in his place next game. He needs taking out imo. The concern is his contract/future is having an effect on his game.

Johnson was absolutely dreadful for the large part of today.

First half the bickering between him and Spence was affecting them both. They just aren’t on the same page.

I wonder if either of them will be with us come 31 January and how much is that impacting their performances?

Difficult game to watch today.. when we finally got to the final 3rd the decision making was so poor and the lack of quality when it came to shots / passes / crosses etc.. was there to see.

do our front 3 hate each other or something? They never seem to want to pass to one another even if they're better positioned.. I rate grabbs a lot but can see his greedyness frustrating his teammates at times.

Didn't think posh where that bad in small spells however do look like a team waiting to get relegated. Apart from them hitting the post they offered very little threat

I am going to take a lot of positives from that game; a game in which we would most probably have folded in due to the aggressive nature of our opponents not too long ago.

Peterborough have struggled all season away from home and have been desperate to try and change their fortunes; you certainly could not fault their effort or application, they came with a game plan which very nearly worked.

To our credit, we now look like a team with two distinct characteristics - there is a unity and togetherness in the side which shows that they are not going to lie down against anyone, and the flip side of that is a sense of purpose which drives them on to the final whistle.

We are seeing players relishing the physical side of the game and throwing their bodies at the ball when necessary, and, despite lacking a little bit of quality in the last third, we are giving it everything when it comes to trying to get the win.

If you could pick out two characteristics in a team which will form the bedrock for success, they are the ones; in all games you have to win a few battles before you win the war.

Cooper deserves massive credit for what he has achieved so far; he has worked on players as individuals and eked out improvement; he has worked on us defensively and made us look tighter and more disciplined and he makes those decisive changes during a game, whether in personnel or tactically, which have gone on to make a difference.

And he has done this with the benefit of no transfer window.

I thought Yates and McKenna were outstanding yesterday, but those conditions suited both players down to the ground.

One player epitomised what we are about these days was Ojeda; he did not play anywhere near as well as he did on his debut; he drifted in and out of the game, a game which must have been a massive culture shock for him, but he left nothing out there - and he made a telling contribution to the first goal, driving on with the ball.

No one can play well every week but there is no excuse for having a poor attitude; thankfully we have a team full of players with the right attitude these days.

Hopefully, the addition of a little bit of quality in January can push us on.
