'Great' Paul Weller. An oxymoron, surely?

Brings #NFFC’s summer business to a close - 9 new arrivals ✍️:

- Horvath
- Dräger
- Ojeda
- Silva
- Osei-Tutu (loan)
- Zinckernagel (loan)
- Garner (loan)
- Lowe (loan)
- Spence (loan)

Average age of signings this summer = 23.2, which is a refreshing change.

Plus Ely now which will push the average up a bit but it's still a positive stat.

That's alot younger.  The side should have more running in it.

I suppose we'll have a few weeks of "they've got to get used to playing together" but by say,October we should see a big improvement. Exciting times.

One of the things Forest do alot because they 'rinse repeat' recruitment alot over the last 24 years instead of progressively building instead.  It's been pretty much constant during our 'exile,' 'have to get used to one another each year' as each plan has been torn up and replaced by the 'new plan.'

If we're all patient and go through this transitional pain barrier and Forest can start picking up results, pull away from the relegation zone, by October the team should see a big improvement over what we had to start the 1st four games with.  At least a draw with Cardiff who are no mugs.

The transfer window.

*conditional excitement.  (Subject to the following terms and conditions...).   We're not allowed to get overly excited.  (Until such time as the transfer business does the business on the pitch and out performs our cynicism.)

Actually the best thing about the weekend and also the distraction of the transfer deadline has meant I havent had to read Hughton Out written in every single post on here.
