What Did you expect him to say???? Whether there is any truth in it or not he could never ever sit there and admit to it. I mean that would be career suicide...

Non of us know the exact truth we can only come to our own conclusions... there is a saying that comes to.kind though.... something to do with fire and smoke.

Not saying I believe a word of the rumours but just adding that he could never publicly admit to anything of the sort.

I think that Nicholas Randalls position should be filled by Stuart Pearce or maybe Martin O'Neill people with true unadulterated integrity, then I would actually listen to what someone from this niche in the club has to say, it would be a terrific way to relate honestly with the fans, even help the owner, and just an exceptional understanding of football clubs from the boot room to the boardroom. I didn't realise until a couple of weeks ago that Stuart Pearce is involved as 'team coach' with West Ham after seemingly upsetting the West Ham board for telling it how it is. The bottom line maybe that telling it how it is is ultimately what sells season tickets, secures 1st class signings and wises the club up to achieve success. I'm really thinking Stuart Pearce to be honest, he did do exceptionally well in the transfer market and had no fear bringing on the kids, stamped on Paul Ince and put Letissier in row D, bent Karen Brady over the boardroom table, I mean the guy is a rare breed and should be here.

The fact that he referenced being the lawyer that helped Keegan take Newcastle to court about it (I had no idea). Suggests that he could be trusted. Surely you have to trust his professional integrity.

I'm sure he would quit if put in that position

He'll be welcome in the Newcastle board room then if we ever get promoted, or they get relegated.

Part 2 is out

Havent got the time or the will right now. Just seen Tails brief tweets on the stand redevelopment, sounds like a load of long winded waffle saying they dont know yet.

I’ve just watched / listened to the latest interview with Nicholas Randall.

Split into 3 headings:

Football & Academy
Community & Fan Engagement
City Ground Redevelopment

NR again comes over as a ‘safe pair of hands’. He certainly doesn’t fall into the trap of over promising - cautious about the timescales for both Cat 1 status for the academy ( hopeful of this Summer but - more likely - a recommendation leading to full Cat 1 at a later date ) & ground redevelopment ( hopeful / confident of planning permission in the Summer ).

He is at pains to reaffirm the commitment of the owner & the long term aspirations of the football club.

This may fall short of what some might have been expecting - but I found the interview(s) to be reasoned, balanced & wholly sensible.

It seems to me that EM will deliver on the ground, academy etc - although timing may be a little longer than we would’ve hoped for.

We are still very dependent upon CH - supported by Gary Brazil & the recruitment team - to deliver the holy grail. In this little / nothing has changed.

I did allow myself  wry smile when NR mentioned 'The Miracle Gates', as if to answer Daniel Taylors constant mentioning of them not having materialised yet!

I wanted the interviewer to ask which Forest players have been cherry picked by Olympiakos
