Nottingham Forest - Reading

At least when it's a Villa, or a Leeds, or a Newcastle, no matter how much it might stick in your craw you can at least take consolation in the fact they have some sort of place there, it's when the "crap ones" get promoted that it really hurts & you realize quite how deep a slumber this sleeping giant has fallen into.

On that basis alone I hope we stuff them 19-1, with Figgy scoring their goal as an act of sympathy.

As they say in Turkey, never forget the baker

20 years of seeing crap clubs overtaking Forest in the fast lane

I can't say it doesn't hurt.

Reading and Barnsley were both languishing in relegation areas recently.  And to see them rise from from the depth of the Championship whilst Forest tread water under the weight of our own hubris.  Frustrating beyond measure

We used to be bury the likes of Norwich.

Which if replicated across the entire season would give us 52 points and make us safe. I will take that.

Which would give us 71 points acroos the season and might even squeeze us into the top 6.

The fact we played Bournemouth, Watford and Swansea also didn't help. I can't stand it when pundits say a team is doing badly because they had a tough run of fixtures.

Put it to EM Sniff. See if we can get it for mates rates and then turn the debt into equity (whatever that means)  :D :D

I like your idea for the team, Tugger.

Looks like a decent back 3!

And that midfield is juicy with some steel (great idea putting Sow and Yates back in there as they were solid until they both got injured) and passing in there (with Garner) and some inspirational wing/back players.

Murray and Taylor up front.  That could be lively.

But it won't happen.  3-5-2.
