I personally thought Bong was excellent last night and should not be replaced for Friday.
Do agree Garner back in, ball retention was poor last night and we resorted to playing in the air too much for me, which I don't think really suits us.
I'd prefer to see Alex in for Freeman too..
Yep totally agree.
Bong played some beautiful crosses in last night, Christie good too, would caveat that with Rotherham playing very narrow which allowed our fullbacks space to get forward.
Thought we reverted to type of giving the ball away in midfield far too often which is what Garner seems to have stopped. Think Yates despite his performance drops out again for Friday.
Lolley or Mighten need to start. I honestly dont understand what Freeman brings.

During the sky commentary it was noted that the Rotherham manager Warne had scored against Forest. He then resurrected a nightmare that I had forgotten about. New Years day 2007 I took someone to their first Forest game at Boundary Park Oldham it was freezing Warne scored the first goal one of five. We lost 5-0 and ended up with 9 men. I noted from the report that Kevin Friend was the referee. I do recoil the guys naked to the wait doing the Conga it must have been minus 5 at least.

Yep I agree too. Yet again, Bong didn't do much wrong. I don't understand why he gets so much stick on here. He's perfectly dependable player.
I suspected CH would rest either Garner or Krov last night as both have put in big efforts since they came in from a standing start in terms of game time played. I think Yates will drop out on Friday as Cafu/Krov/Garner is proving to be a formidable trio.

For the first half of the first half they were banging on about some penalty decision from another match and then the second half of the second half they didn't shut up banging on about Yates being offside!! Apparently, Ker,nockaert (how they were pronouncing his name) shouldve have a red card for punching a Rotherham player in the first half................"Ee clearly punched im in't face" and Figs apparently kicked their defender "I saw im do it, ee kicked im deliberately"
We are so blessed to have Colin Fray and Steve Hodge doing our commentaries as they do give a reasonably balance commentary of the game, unlike these two Yorkshire twats!!
On a more positive note, a great result from the lads today in very difficult playing conditions
Watched match replay on ifollow today (hungover yesterday so had an early night!)
The Rotherham commentators were fine first half, homespun reminiscences and happy to praise Murray's header as he was offside...it was our goal that did it (plus they'd seen a replay at HT which showed Knockaert feebly slapping their player's back).
Not only did they keep on about the goal being offside, they were up in arms every time we got a free kick. And when their guy produced an air shot they kept saying he'd been fouled by a defender (despite several replays showing no such contact). It was hilarious - meltdown hardly describes it.
