Great, albeit a fortunate win (about time had some luck). On to the next game with the same spirit.

Ugly win but my god did we need it

Fair play to Chris Hughton, I thought he got the starting eleven wrong but it got the result.

Samba - two match winning saves, occasionally erratic
Christie- poor crossing
Ribeiro-poor crossing, had a tough game overall
Figuerido-excellent, had to cover Worrall a couple of times when caught under it
Worrall-did well, composed on the ball
Yates-needs to be better on the ball but played a couple of decent first time passes, especially the one in the build up to the penalty
Sow-amazed he’s still fit, “sow” important to how we play
Cafu-occasional glimpses of quality, needs to do it more
Knockaert-wasteful
Ameobi-barely noticed he was playing
Grabban-excellent all round play, shame he doesn’t get better service

Lolley-occasional decent touch
Arter-did ok
Taylor- one terrible shot (he didn’t mean it), nothing else of note

Excellent result against a decent side, all credit to the manager
