Very professional Hughton performance- no glaring errors and grabbs is a class act- showed us we need another number 9. Taylor I am convinced is useful but no more...

Also very interesting to see grabbs talk and order everyone around after his goal...his confidence oozed back.

Hope he isn’t off to Qatar

Good performance today by the lads, defence was solid but really tested, Grabbs looked like a Rolls Royce when he came on and took the goal well. Small steps so I hope CH will recognise that the enforced changes have worked for him, more energy by the team overall.

Full time.
Can only beat what’s put in front of you. With the exception of one headed chance in the first half we restricted them. Samba: did everything needed, good distribution Christie: excellent workrate and often got into good positions but wasteful Ribeiro: took his goal well with little time to compose, linked up with Mighten / Ameobi throughout Worrall: lead by example, headed and kicked it when needed Mbe Soh: looked shaky at times, some good passing, still young and playing in a different country Sow: allows the other midfielders to play further up the pitch, some excellent interceptions, need him fit Yates: did ok but needs to be better on the ball Cafu: got closer to Taylor and some excellent threaded passes and set pieces, improving with game time Mighten: bright first half, Wednesday were doubling up at points, beat his man and unlucky to not get a penalty. Lots to offer Ameobi: MOTM. Magic in his boots, dancing past players, all over the park, retained the ball when needed which we have struggled with Taylor: decent hold up play but missed two decent chances Lolley: barely involved Grabban: a couple of nice bits of hold up play, worked hard for us goal and took it well

A mention as well to CH.
Gave chances to the two young lads in Mbe Soh and Mighten, which paid off. Managed to get Cafu closer Taylor, which has been lacking. Put Cafu on set pieces and looked more likely to score

Firstly Wednesday were so bad but that hasn't stopped us losing in the past. Very solid throughout, Cafu had an excellent game and a massive win. Looked a lot better without Arter and Lolley. Be interesting to see if/where Knockaert plays on Saturday (he should still start IMO)

Be tempted to consider starting Grabban too
