Nottingham Forest - Sheffield United 2nd Leg
^agreed. I note from the larger statement they've also tried to move the story toward the Billy Sharp incident as well.

I believe Heckingbottom has been charged as well?

Heckingbottom needs to keep his trap shut. His actions on the night and before were a contributing factor in the whole affair.

I see no good that can come out of taking this incident further other than for a few lawyers.
It was a great night for us with some unfortunate incidents at the end where both clubs dont exactly look great. Cant we just all move on.

It's not the club that's doing this. I presume the person who McBurnie and Brewster allegedly assaulted took it to the police, they investigated and have now decided to bring charges.

If that's what the individual wanted then that's up to them.

Possibly thats what happened. In which case said complainant is also admitting he was on a football pitch which is a criminal offence in itself.
Of course he then says yes but what about the other 10,000 fans on the pitch you cant get them all. The Police say yes absolutely and charge NFFC with not controlling their fans and make us play games behind closed doors.
No good will come of this.

Correct, which is why Sheffield Utd need to be keeping out of it. Referring to the police as the 'Nottinghamshire Police', mentioning the attack on Billy Sharp (even though that was a separate incident), along with saying that their manager has written to all and sundry, is hardly making the individual's persuit of justice any easier. It's also stoking up fan tensions between the clubs. Horrible club.
