Agree. But I would've gone Sangare.

Likewise, thought he was outstanding. The awareness to rob Gray and then set up CHO for the first goal was excellent.

He is and its brilliant he is coming good. Realistically though he barely showed what he could do until the end of his 2nd season, how many players can we afford to carry like that until they are up to speed? I suspect the only reason he is still here is because we couldn’t recoup the outlay on him.
Its happened before quite a few times, Kevin Campbell was pretty rubbish in his first 2 seasons, David Johnson was another. Sometimes the patience pays off, sometimes you accept things just won’t work. Im not slagging Sangare and genuinely Im delighted if he has proved his doubters including me wrong.

Indeed, I remember reading how crap Hutchinson was recently..........now the same people either are quiet or like him and want him starting..........

Have to agree with SM above on Sangare, he's winning me round a bit now (and he did have malaria from last Afcon), but he has been poor/average for too long for me to sing his praises just yet. And as good as we were, spurs were God awful! He does look much fitter and sharper, so is excellent by his previous standards, but he still has a mistake in him and if he gets beaten he's too slow to catch up. I hope he can keep up his current level, but he won't make the first team if the squad is fit.
He was a huge outlay on one player when we got him. A friend nailed it recently when saying he should have been a Premier league version of what Samba Sow was in the championship and that really hasn't been the case so far. Some might say that's a bit harsh, I guess it's up to him to convince me!
