Barring Richards where it is doubtful whether his body would hold up to a Prem season, the others aren’t good enough to get us to where we need to be

What has Richards shown apart from a leg fracture that kept him out only on a legal basis as far as it’s been alluded to, that makes you feel he can’t do a full season?

We shipped him off to oly where he wasn’t going to be starting and by all accounts when we signed him it was to be vying for our number one spot

I can’t see why he cannot be in the mix for us

He didn't manage to rack up minutes for Oly last year. Not sure why he'd suddenly be able to ramp it up to be a PL starter.

I would happily keep Worrall as a squad player, especially if we sell Murlillo. We are rebuilding a back line (that needed rebuilding) but some physical stability would be helpful. I don't see the point in buying players 3% better for the bench.

My main preference for the summer is thst we don't repeat the last two seasons and have a pointless pre season then another pre season after the 1st of September. The bulk of our business needs to be done by the end of July/ start of August.

The last thing we need is to sell Murlillo at the end of August then buy 4 players with the money.

But reds is implying he’d be a sick note all season and let’s get rid! I’m not advocating him starting against Bournemouth, but surely he is an upgrade on toff as back up? We never would have been in for Toffolo if Richards fracture hadn’t come to light if memory serves me right

Yes I agree over Toff, I was working on the assumption we'd sign someone else to compete with Aina. Fair point though in that case yes.

For me we need 5 or 6 signing

DLC/DL - First choice defender who will play DL when defending and then happy to move into a back 3 when we have the ball
DC - Left side to act as cover to Murillo
DC- Left side first team if Murillo leaves
AML - Cover or better than CHO
FWR - Cover or better than Elanga
SC - First Choice can't rely on current two to do a full season

Any extras or improvements to current squad are welcome but these are the gaps as i see it
