Would have snapped your hand off if anyone had offered me that last August.

38 games, 38 goals scored, 38 points.

We also finished in our alphabetical order position.

This is the most satisfying thing about this season

Thought it was pretty embarrassing for Everton fans running on the pitch to celebrate survival.

They’ve been in the premier league for about 200 years and finishing fourth bottom for them is still failure

I'd take that.

Not sure EM will settle for that.

He's really going for it then Sniff I'd happily take 16th if offered now.

He is but I think he needs to chill a bit and simmer down.
I think he got a little bit carried away.

Hope EM is happy enough too. Don’t blame him for his expectations, tbh had he only aimed for 17th we would likely have finished bottom. Shows how hard the league is.

Now we're all calm and the season's done, im a bit disappointed with 16th to be honest. If we hadn't had that crippling injury list we might have been looking at 10th or 11th.

I'm f#(King ecstatic with 16th this season. Take your point re injuries, as that hurt us so badly, part and parcel though isn't it,but come on 16th!  Next season I'm hoping a) to avoid 2nd season syndrome b) to kick on a bit and c) to keep our unbelievable support being positive even in the bad patches.  Certain players look like they may have a real effect next season based on last 5 or 6 games, in particular Tsiwo, Mangala, Danilo, Yates and Worrall. Yes Worrall, 2 motm performances for me to round off his season.

Think we may also see best of Scarpa next season....hopefully.

There isn't a lot between mid-table and where we finished. Hopefully next season with the experience and nous we'll have gained from this campaign we'll be more adept at turning our leads into wins.

A lot of where you might finish in this league is what fixtures you have and when lots down to Lady Luck
Ie vierra got sacked because of a bad run of fixtures
And Bournemouth had lots of easy games to collect some points before the end of season dramas
You could even get harder looking games at the end with some teams on the beach
Come on you mighty Reds
