Reason he was good last night is because we played 4-1-4-1 he wasn't asked to stick to DM and played as a box to box it suits him.

He was on fire in his first few games. He showed signs last night that he's sorted himself out and coming back into form. Dare I say it, he's like a new signing.

Shame he didn't bury the goal.  But he was there making a nuisance of himself.  That's what counts.

If he recaptures his early promise it would be like a new signing for the run in.  And he could be the missing 'box to box' ACM we didn't get in January.

His early performances were getting noteworthy praise.

Crucial with Sow's injury that some of the 'out of form' players step up.

Just goes to show, at least give players a season to settle in before writing any one off.

Silva had a great game.  Some lung busting runs to get the ball back.  Suits the 'advanced' of Watson position.

Yates.  Is young.  Only as painful as Worrall was when he was making his mistakes.  Or Cash.  Both of the latter have been doing it much longer in this Forest team even though it may not seem that way.  They were both playing for Warburton.  I recall Worrall seeming quite 'battle worn' at the latter stages of Warburton's run as 'Manager.'  And eg.  Cash took a while and the criticism for his conversion to RB which could have gone either way...and he drew criticism as  winger despite how many goals he scored.

Yates is developing.  And from the bench is how it should be done.  He didn't have his best game, gave the ball away a few times but he made some good runs.

That's the way it is with young players.  Inconsistent.  Sometimes when you want it so bad...that happens.  I don't think it will be his self belief...but more wanting it so much.  You can almost try too hard and sometimes what you touch doesn't pay off.  Forest are lucky they had a promising Academy prospect to step into that role.

He's still a very young player re: his involvement in the Forest side.  A promising prospect for that role in the future.

Silva. Really grown as a player this season. Important to give players time.

He's wiry. Pretty quick. Decent footballing brain. Got a shot on him. Can tackle and get stuck in. He's a sound find at this level. And he 'wants it.'

Positionally seems to be doing very well in that more advanced role. Suits him.

He and Semedo (as moving targets in midfield...) could be a handful for any side in the Championship.

We’ve had some utterly forgettable players down the years havent we? Thought Semedo did really well at first when he came here then his performances seemed to drop off a cliff. Oh well good luck to him there.

He was only a kid when we had him here, sounds like he is maturing into a decent player.
