We've left the competition now.

Fair points.

I can't remember ever feeling this low going into a Derby game.

I'm hoping that his decision to rest key players is a positive and they come out all guns blazing.

If they don't then they're gong to find themselves on the end of a pasting.

I have a horrible feeling it will be like the 5-0 from 2014.

Wasn't that a spanking following the Forest fans mocking/chanting 'It is what it is...' of Davies the week earlier.  And then he went in to the tunnel after the Derby match and we never saw wee Billy after that?

A parting gift?

I've always put that result down to Billy forcing his exit and compo. I think CH has more scruples than that.

Wasn't there an allegedly melt down from Davies vs Fawaz, 'I'm in bleeping charge...I pick the bleeping team...etc.'

In part.

The players also largely stopped playing for him that day.

I had the fortune of being relatively close to a lot going on that day, crazy experience.

I didn't go to the game and was in the middle of a decorating project at home at the time. I made the mistake of turning the telly/radio off (cant remember which) at 3-0 and going off to paint my living room radiator in a huff. Unfortunately from that day on, every time I looked at that damn radiator it reminded me of that game.

Yes, I'm a sad git. I Know.
