My only concern is the defensive solidity doesnt quite seem to be there, we panic and flap at set pieces like we did did when we were first promoted, particularly when trying to see the game out.

Agree SM but it was refreshing to hear Vitor address it in his post match conference saying we will be far more aggressive from now on. Let's hope so because Man City didn't create too much in open play. The first we again have to be more aggressive in approach, Guehi should not have been allowed to carry the ball so far without challenge.

I'm not sure that ever really went away did it? I know we did well at shutting down games last season but it was still pretty scrappy at times.

Surely we should be getting a proper set piece coach in the summer (that is actually supported by whoever the manager is going to be). Particularly as they are likely to tweak the rules on set pieces due to Arsenal's dominance on them.

The most reassuring thing about last night is that it showed (hopefully) that the players certainly haven't given up yet and we look as though we are up for the battle.

If there is an unsung hero of the year award it should go to Dominguez. Plays wherever hes told and always puts a shift in. A real asset in the squad.
