Christmas decorations go up

We all know what happens every January too.
Any answers? Do we get sussed out tactically? Are the players not good enough? Thin squad? Are we just cursed? Whatever it is a recurring theme.

Does anyone else think that the club treating so many of it's servants badly might have resulted in some type of karmic curse?
MON the perfect recent example. European stalwart, came in and did his best without spending 1p on transfer fees, took us to our highest position in 6 years (which is where we sit now, despite the addition of 12 players in the Summer), booted because he's not a fancy name.
