Hopefully they want to show the world that yesterdays bad luck and poor first half performance was just a blip, and we stuff Brentford to move back to third.
Fingers crossed its back to Aina and Williams left and right, and we start with Yates and Anderson in the middle.

Aina has to be considered a doubt after he wasn't even in the squad yesterday. We might have to go another game without him.

One hopes Nuno was protecting him for the league game - ultimately qualifying for the Champions League is more important than the FA Cup.
Good players join clubs to play CL football.
They dont join because the team won the FA Cup.
So priority is always the League and fingers crossed Aina will be training this week fully and playing Thursday

I'd be quite confident in Toffolo and Williams as the full-backs if that's the case.

I think Ola isn't going to be playing unless he is 100% ready. Williams and Toffs will be fine. I think handsome Moreno is buggered as he has fallen off a cliff.
Play Sosa in this one if Elanga can only play 45 minutes. We need to be on the front foot. Having said that I suspect that Nuno would play Jota instead. I would prefer Ramon as he is fast and seems to be a very hard worker. Jota is a menace but not a winger.
Massive game this Thursday. A Draw wouldn't be horrible. A Win would be terrific and a loss would be heartbreaking. I have a feeling the boys will be up for this though after yesterday so hopefully we really really go for it.

5 more games. No more distractions.
Every game looks to be winnable or something we can get a result from, none of these teams have beaten us this season.
Mostly fit squad, no more suspensions.
Fans need to back the team to the end. This is in our hands, pick ourselves up and get over the line.

Our fan base remains very positive despite the defeat yesterday. If the players are feeling the same then Thursday night should be a very upbeat occasion.

I've got a nagging worry that us constantly playing catchup with our game in hand might have an effect. We had to win last week to go back third. We're behind again this week and will be next week too with us playing on the Monday night. Can we keep dragging the results out?

Interesting to look back at the team selection when we beat them 2-0 at their place.
We played a back 3 with Morato, Milenkovic and Murillo.
2 wing backs were Ola and Neco
Anderson and MGW as TYE midfield 2,
CHO and Elanga played narrow with Wood up top.
Wonder if Nuno will play a similar hand ?

They will come and be really open, they have been all season.
A lot of goals in their games.
They will cause us problems defensively but also give us plenty of opportunities to get at their back line.
