No idea what the team will look like for this one - will depend a lot on the injuries. We know Niakhate will definitely be out. Wonder if we'll go back to five at the back for an away game again and go with something like this (this assumes that Yates, Dominguez, Aina, Tavares, Danilo, Felipe and McKenna aren't available):

------------------------------Turner-----------------------------
---------Worrall--------------Boly------------Murillo----------
Aurier----------Sangare-----------Mangala-----------Toffolo
------------Gibbs-White-----------Hudson-Odoi--------------
-----------------------------Awoniyi-----------------------------

That shows the incredible work we've done in terms of building the squad since we got promoted. That suggested team is missing eight players who'd all be in with a shout of making the starting line-up and still doesn't include Vlachodimos, Williams, Omabamadele, Kouyate, Santos, Aguilera, Elanga, Wood and Origi. (apologies if I've missed anyone else!)

I think Domingues is fine, he was ready to come back on, and didnt go down the tunnel when he came off.
I also think one of Aina and Tavares will be available.

IMO we play 4 at the back, this is a winnable game and I think it will be the same shape as Brentford apart from MGW in for either Elanga or CHO.

Eze out for 6 weeks with a hamstring.
Any team minus Eze and Olise is a big help for us that’s for sure.

Seems fairly clear to me who is ahead out of CHO and Elanga right now.

The first away game I actually have managed to secure a ticket for, can’t f***ing wait

RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - McDurban - 03-10-2023

For me it's Oddy in goal with Sangare & Dominguez in the middle.
I have an order of preference at LWB, depending on fitness...
I'd like to see more of CHO cutting in from the left, getting into the box, troubling defenders, drawing fouls.

------------------------------Oddy-----------------------------
---------Worrall--------------Boly------------Murillo----------
Aurier----------Sangare-----------Dominguez-----------Aina/Tavares/Toffolo (in order of preference)
------------Gibbs-White-----------Hudson-Odoi--------------
-----------------------------Awoniyi-----------------------------

RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - optimistic_red - 03-10-2023

I suspect the following
------------------------------Oddy-----------------------------
---------Worrall--------------Boly------------Murillo----------
Aurier----------Sangare-----------Mangala-----------Aina/Toffolo
------------Gibbs-White-----------Dominguez--------------
-----------------------------Awoniyi-----------------------------

Not a clue on selection for this one but again like Brentford it is a team we should be looking to take points off. Especially if we are no longer a team fighting to stay up and are looking to mid table. It will be a close game that I'm sure about and probably low scoring.

if we can’t win don’t lose: not winning at home means we need to not lose away.

RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Sausage Roll - 05-10-2023

"The injury situation is "ongoing" with a number of players still to be monitored before the weekend. Danilo is back on the grass but "still in the middle of his rehab", while Cooper added "Nuno I don't think we will see until after the international break"."
